I despise ticket sales companies. Their business model/allowance or collusion with ticket scalpers is repugnant. On a lighter note, we're hiring and *standard post*, it's nearly the Bank Holiday weekend 😎 🤘 We have a number of new jobs that I have very uncreatively listed below. Manager, Technical Consultancy and Solution Architecture, Customer Support Advisor - Danish speaking Customer Support Advisor - Finnish speaking Customer Support Advisor - Sweden speaking Sales Engineer - German speaking Web & Digital Experience Manager I have shared the link to the careers page in the description below. You know how to apply and how to share with if you're not right for it. GO! Finally, the information I am sure that you were all waiting for; what band was I trying to book tickets for? Well, I was searching for Nickelback tickets at the o2 but at about £175 for a standing ticket (of course not face value) I shall not be attending. I am of course ready for the barrage of messages courteously explaining that it is my own fault for liking Nickelback and that they are terrible but you are just wrong. Disclaimer - all views are my own on the subject of ticket sales companies 🤣 #heyheyiwannabearockstar #nickelback #hiring #quinyx

I help SaaS Companies with B2B Marketing Solutions | Demand Generation | Content Syndication | Intent Data
A Wake-Up Call for Employers: Scrolling through job listings, I stumbled upon a Sr. Manager RevOps role that left me utterly flabbergasted. Just look at these primary responsibilities: revenue strategy, pricing strategy, sales ops, marketing ops, GTM metrics, data analysis, GTM tech stack, budget management, team alignment, commission management... and the salary? A measly $150k OTE. Are we seriously expecting one person to juggle all these critical tasks, design strategies, and manage commissions while being compensated less than a single enterprise sales rep? That's not just unrealistic, it's a recipe for disaster! Let's get real here. RevOps isn't child's play. It's the backbone of scaling businesses, driving revenue, and maximizing efficiency. But how can we expect someone to wear so many hats, execute flawlessly, and not burn out when we're not even willing to pay them what they're worth? Employers, listen up: if you're serious about growth, you've got to be serious about investing in the powerhouse behind it all. RevOps isn't a one-person show—it's a strategic function that deserves the recognition and compensation it commands.

Commsor 🦕 is looking for it's next dino: a CSM. We’re #hiring a founding CSM to join us as we continue to onboard and support a growing customer base. The person in this role will have a lot of impact shaping customer experience at Commsor. If you or someone you know is interested, for the love of all things dino, APPLY and don't just DM our entire team that you're interested. Find the full JD + link to apply here → https://lnkd.in/dtGz253f On a different note - if you or someone you know is looking for a talented seller, I know 3 incredible salespeople currently on the hunt for their next role: Seller 1 - has extensive experience as an AE and has also dabbled in partnerships so knows how to co-sell, collaborate, multi-thread you name it. Does an incredible job with social selling and truly is one of the nicest people you could ever hope to work with. Was absolutely crushing their quota until their company blindsided the sales team and laid off 80% of the AEs. Has experience selling to SMB, mid-market, and Enterprise. Seller 2 - has IC experience, founding AE experience, and also SDR management experience. This person is super motivated, kind, and isn't afraid to get "their hands dirty" as a leader and sell themselves. I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention that they literally NEVER missed quota as an SDR and has a current 40% close rate as an AE. This person is open to both IC and management roles. Seller 3 - is a newer connection of mine and has blown me away with their depth of knowledge of sales despite coming from a "non traditional background", aka teaching. This is their superpower as a seller because they aren't afraid to experiment, try new things and aren't stuck in the "but thats how we've always done sales" mentality that so many sellers have. So it's no surprise they are at the top of the leaderboard in their current role and also were they only seller globally to drive the most amount of net-new business in Q1/Q2 2023 DM me if you'd like to be introed to any of these amazing people!

Global Talent Acquisition Enablement Lead @ Xplor Technologies 🚀 We unite software, payments and commerce-accelerating technologies that help businesses thrive | Co-Organizer #MelbTalentMeetup
So here’s something I've observed over the past few years. Our Customer Support team has been a great career launchpad for a lot of people at Xplor and it helped them move into bigger roles when they were ready for it. And it makes sense. The team isn't just the heartbeat of Xplor but their role is central to our mission of helping people and businesses succeed. People in our Support team gain a deep understanding of our products and customers. And when you interact with customers daily, you start to really understand their needs and pain points and how our products are used in real-world scenarios. That 'frontline experience' gives you invaluable insights for your next career move - because you’re not just solving problems — you’re learning the business from the ground up. Some of the next steps I've seen people take: - They stepped up and into Team Lead roles - They kicked off their careers in tech sales as SDRs and Account Executives - They moved into Junior Product Manager roles - They moved into more technical support roles in Level 2 - They joined our Marketing team - They moved into Customer Onboarding and Training roles - They moved into Junior Engineering roles And I'm sure I forgot a few. So if you're looking to kickstart your career, joining our Customer Support Team in Global Ops might just be the right move for you. We're hiring for multiple roles in Melbourne, AU and Newcastle UK. Head over to our careers page to find out more, please :) #hiring #customersupport #contactcenter #customerexperience

What do you look for in a Customer Success Manager hire? I get asked this question a lot, and my answer is always the same: It depends. What kind of company am I hiring for? How is the CS team incentivized? What are the goals of the organization as a whole? In my view, there is a CSM skillset spectrum with "pure problem solver" on one end and "salesperson" on the other. In today’s world, we’re seeing more CSMs closer to the sales end of that spectrum being hired - that’s the reality of where we are. In SaaS, we’re focused on maximizing revenue, and getting renewals isn’t enough. We need to sell more, and what better place to do that than with our existing customers? However, there is still a strong need for hands-on, subject matter experts who love nothing more than to help a customer solve a problem or get something done quickly. Companies that assign the responsibility of upselling to a different team, or perhaps to the original salesperson who made the deal, are still out there, and the "helpers" still have a home. At the end of the day, every company is different and usually falls somewhere on this spectrum. As a hiring manager, you have to look for a mix of skills based on where your company is on this spectrum. The most important thing is to have this understanding from the top down. Alignment on "who we are" is crucial. The last thing you want is to hire a team of helpers when, in reality, you have a boss and executive team focused on revenue growth. Where is your team on this spectrum? Is it aligned with where your executive team thinks it should be?
