𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐛𝐬. Or make more money. For the young associate medical device sales reps out there: Here's what gets paid big $... 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬/𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬. That's it. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭. Not tenure. Not case coverage. Not your LinkedIn profile. Not knowing how the doctor likes her coffee. Not your use of the word "strategic" or "silo". Not your understanding of the dermatomes. Or the various angles of your cutting jig thingee. Or heaven forbid what you THINK you deserve. Nope. 𝑆𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑠. Selling to new customers. Not "bluebirds landing on your shoulder". You didn't convert that customer. The customer landed in your territory. Don't confuse the two. You need more "Sales". Less "Rep". Don't ask me about Accounting or Finance. I have no idea what they reward. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬. It's in your title. Go call on someone who doesn't use your product now. And solve new customers' problems. #sales #medicaldevices

Hiring more salespeople won’t fix your sales problem. Here’s why … Last week, I was on a call with a senior exec who was tasked with growing US sales for their science-backed ingredient company. - 📉 Sales were flat. - 💸 Marketing spend was high, with little ROI. - 😕 Sales team morale was low. Their solution? “Let’s hire more salespeople.” I hear this all the time. But I challenged him to take a step back. “Before we add to the team, let’s talk about how to make your EXISTING sales team more effective and successful.” Because here’s what I know: Hiring alone won’t fix the problem. Why? Selling science-backed ingredients is hard. - It’s a technical sale. - With long sales cycles. - That require a lot of persistence. - And there are limited opportunities to close. A new salesperson will face the same challenges as a seasoned one. Instead of adding more headcount, focus on equipping your current team for success. That’s why we launched the Step Change Innovations Magnify program—to provide proactive prospecting and sales support specifically for science-backed ingredient sales. We want to make your existing sales team more successful. Are you looking to accelerate sales of your ingredient? Let’s chat. #ingredientsales #foodtechnology #sales #saleschallenges #sciencebacked

The top 3 𝑬𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝑹𝒆𝒑 must have... 🌟🩺💼 I could easily list out a dozen skills that every medical sales rep must have to be successful, but here are my top 3.. 1. 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 🔍 - This industry requires a deep understanding of the product, device or drug you represent. It is imperative that you know the features, benefits, applications, and limitations of your product as well as those of your competition. - You can gain a customer's trust or lose all their respect in a single moment. How well you prepare for that moment will ultimately determine your success. 2. 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 💬 - I intentionally didn't say "sales" skills. Developing a consultative approach will help you identify customer needs, engage in meaningful discussions, and offer personalized recommendations aligned with their needs. - Successful sales reps have a sales process that begins with 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 and 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 needs. 3. 𝑨𝒅𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 💪 - Reps must be adaptable, continuously evolving, and resilient in handling rejection and overcoming sales process obstacles. - You will get knocked down time after time. You will receive a lot of NO's or Not Right Now's. The key differentiator is that the great reps are resilient in their pursuit of success. I believe that to be a successful rep, you must have 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 to build trust, strong 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 to understand and meet customer needs, and the adaptability and 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 to navigate industry changes and overcome challenges. Whether a seasoned or new rep, honing these essential skills will set you apart in the industry 🌟🩺💼 What is one trait that you would add to the list? 🤔 📢 Share, comment, or like this post and join me on my mission to impact the lives of 100K reps! 🌟 #medicaldevices #TheLobby #jobs --- Hope this helps! 🌟

We're not a marketing company—we're a sales company. Think of us as your 1099 sales rep, or an extension of your sales team. → We do the outreach. → We talk to decision-makers. → We handle the follow-up. Our approach? It's hands-on and old-school, because we know it works. In a world flooded with flashy automated systems that rarely deliver, we stand apart. We don’t send out mass, automated messages that fall flat—we reach out one by one, creating real conversations and building relationships. If you want a sales team that connects personally and consistently delivers results, let's talk. #fractionalsales #b2bsales #contractors

#AE #hiring post - please stop reading when this no longer describes you (yes, this is a test 😉): If you're this far, perhaps you'd consider yourself a standout sales professional. Awesome, now let's see how well you match what we're looking for. Is this you?: 🚀 You could connect me directly with 3 enterprise payer and/or health system logos you've personally landed (ideally in the last 36 months!) - - > I'm not a big fan of Rolodexes (or whatever the kids are calling it these days 📠). My point is, this shows me not only that you can sell, more importantly that you're doing it right, building a true relationship that you could reach out to when needed 🚀 You can demo the product you sell *better than* your sales engineer 😮 (if you have one 😉) - - > Gotta live these products if you're gonna sell 'em 🚀 You don't wait for others to create pipe for you - you can show me on your calendar and in your inbox *right now* that you're constantly generating new conversations with net new high value contacts and prospects - - > As a point of reference, I have 7 discos scheduled this week (so far!) + 3 mid-stage deal convos. Get competitive, show me up! Still reading? Beautiful, DM me and we'll chat. JD linked in the comments
