3 bits of important paperwork you need to get sorted this year ⬇️ 1. Contracts Employment law is forever changing and if some of your team has been with you for a while, it’s possible that laws have changed. That means your contracts should reflect this to make sure you and your business are protected in the future. 2. Job descriptions In our experience, it pays to make sure everyone has updated job descriptions too. It avoids any hard feelings; everyone knows where they stand and it also provides you with a level of protection too. 3. Policies Just like your other documents, these have the potential to go out of date pretty quickly. And if they do and you later rely on one of them to help with a grievance or disciplinary, it could make things a lot trickier than they need to be. It goes without saying that, when you update any company documents like these, you must let your staff know of the changes and provide them with new copies of the documents. Need a hand?
