How Are Our Environments Contributing to Mental Health Challenges? ⁉ Stress at Work and Its Consequences 👨💼 High standards, strict deadlines, and ongoing pressure at work can cause chronic stress, which is a sign of more severe mental health issues including depression and anxiety. All of these problems can be made worse by a toxic workplace, which can also have a detrimental effect on one's personal life and cause burnout and reduced productivity. The viewpoint of the student 👩🎓 For students, the pressure to succeed academically, manage social expectations, and prepare for future careers can be overwhelming. Many students struggle with anxiety, depression, or other mental health disorders as a result.
