✨ Don't let data privacy concerns hold you back from unlocking the full potential of Creatio CRM! In 2025, the CRM software market is expected to grow 14% — it’s no wonder since business operations and data processing largely depend on organized automated systems. Our partner Creatio is one of such CRM providers, which offers extra automation and no-code tools. Companies requiring an extra layer of security, data sovereignty and compliance, usually choose Creatio as an On-Site software. It enables them to customize CRM capacities and have full control over their data. But it can also be challenging to keep track of updates, backups and troubleshooting. That’s when GigaCloud offers the Managed Private Cloud solution to host On-Site Creatio. We will handle every issue you might have, from installation to monitoring — and thanks to the cloud infrastructure, you won’t have to bother buying equipment and hiring cloud experts. In 2021 I wrote the article "The Search for a SaaS CRM" (https://lnkd.in/ga-iNgMH). I thought it was inevitable that someone would try to build a CRM focused on SaaS businesses in 2022. A CRM that was - A system of record -> Not an add-on to the old CRMs - Subscription First - Closely Tied to the Product - Automation-Driven - Smoothly Integrated to other tools in the SaaS ecosystem - Fit for both Sales and Customer Success (or a merged product experts team) But what has happened since my article? 1. The PQL/Product-led Sales and Reverse ETL tools market has been narrowed down to a few players due to businesses shutting down, being acquired or fully pivoting. The last remaining players looks to continue the journey as an add-on to existing CRMs. 2. The CDPs, payment tools, onboarding tools and traditional CRMs have not made significant moves in this direction. 3. The biggest move have been made in the subscription metrics category where ChartMogul have launched a CRM, but they still have a far way to go to make it a successful product. 4. Some of the players who are building new modern CRMs like Poggio Labs and Clarify seems focused on the data problem the most, and are not specifically focused on SaaS businesses as a market. So am I missing something? Or are we still searching for a CRM for SaaS? #SaaS #CRM

**Unveiling the True Cost of Generic CRM Platforms in Regulatory Compliance** In the realm of regulatory compliance, understanding where every dollar goes is crucial. Your board demands it; and your registrants deserve it. Recently, I reviewed a financial estimate from a prospect considering Microsoft Dynamics as their regulatory platform. The breakdown over a five-year period showed a total cost of $2.1 million, with $500K allocated solely to software. These fee does not include the 3 MS Dynamics FTEs, change managers, and business analyst being hired after the deployment to support what this vendor was building. Those salaries were going to add another 2.1M to Opex cost. This raises critical questions: What regulatory-specific value are we obtaining from the $500K software investment? More importantly, what exactly constitutes the remaining $1.5 million? **Key Points to Consider:** 1. **Dissecting the Software Investment:** Out of the $500K on software, it’s essential to scrutinize what fraction genuinely caters to regulatory needs. Are we paying for development tools and services that don’t align with our core regulatory functions? 2. **The Remaining $1.5 Million:** This significant portion of the budget likely goes towards services, configuration, and potentially non-regulatory features. It begs the question: Are we channeling our resources efficiently, or are we inadvertently funding a development endeavor under the guise of a regulatory solution? 3. **Vendor’s Future Investment:** What commitments does the vendor have for regulatory-specific enhancements? How much of our investment will fund developments that are irrelevant to our regulatory objectives? It’s vital to ensure that our registrants' money is not spent on superfluous technological advancements. 4. **Agency’s Core Competency:** Are we fostering a specialization in regulatory platforms, or are we drifting towards becoming a hub for custom development in Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce? The answer will shape our long-term strategy and operational efficiency. **The Bottom Line:** In choosing a CRM platform, are we truly gaining a regulatory assurance platform or are we, unintentionally, building a dependency on software development? I encourage my peers, especially those in the regulatory sector, to share their perspectives and experiences. How do you evaluate the real value and cost of such CRM platforms in the context of regulatory compliance? Why are 65% of CRM deployments failing to meet the objectives of an agency being an effective regulator? #TheRightFit #RegulatorySolutions #COTSVSNOTS #CRMVSRAS #Solutions #Strategy #CoreMandates #RegulatoryEffectiveness Mike C.
