If you know of anyone looking for a good full time job let me know. We have a spot in the lab that we are trying to fill. Pay is decent, but the benefits are awesome. $35k/year Full medical and dental paid by the school. Pension. 6 weeks of paid time off for school/federal holidays. 12 days of paid vacation. 12 days of paid sick time. Monday through Friday hours. Personally, I think a stage manager kind of personality would be awesome. Organized, creative, able to be responsible for setting up a given scenario. Throw in a little geekiness to deal with the tech and they are set. Medical background doesn't matter. My medical background amounts to watching "House, MD" and I'm fine. (As Rhiannon says, "we teach the medical stuff to students, so we can teach the new person.") I do 8k-10k steps per day on average, and some days I do 15k steps so it's an active job. I think of it like setting up 2-3 one act "shows" each week. Nothing crazy. And we're super chill 😁 The job listing/description isn't the best so let me know if there are any questions to answer. Graduates with a degree in pre-health have many alternatives for careers. Many seek additional schooling in order to work as physicians, dentists, or pharmacists. Others might choose to work as physical therapists, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants. Careers in medical research, healthcare management, medical sales, and health education are good options for people who don't want to go to college. These positions take advantage of their solid background in medicine and science. Some people might work in public health, specializing in illness prevention and community health programs. All things considered, a pre-health degree provides a flexible foundation for a wide range of fulfilling employment in the medical field.

I have some questions about employment, I see alot of employers looking for candidates to hire but a level of education or experience is required. So if a candidate meets education requirements (college graduates) but not experience, why not give them a chance to get the experience? Also if a candidate has both education and lets say a year of experience in the field that the employer is hiring, but the employer wants 2-3 or 5 years of experience. How can an employer expect candidates to gain experience if they are not willing to to hire candidates so that they may gain more experience? Each job uses different systems, that candidates who get hired still have to train to use the system. And the reason for my question is that I recently in May 2023 received an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Management and also I have a year and three months of experience in medical records. I was laid off from my job in February 2023 and I have been applying for jobs to no avail. It is hard to get hired and I am passionate about medical records but I feel as if I am not given a chance due to my lack of experience. Can anyone answer these questions?

What major leads to high-paying jobs that help others? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gGWgBE_a #CareerChoices #HigherEducation #FindYourPassion Hey everyone! 🌟 So, I just finished college with a certification, but I'm in a bit of a pickle figuring out my next steps. 🎓 I initially thought about getting an English degree, but after doing some digging, it seems like there aren’t a ton of job opportunities in that area. I’ve heard a lot about nursing, but honestly, that’s not really my vibe. Currently, I’m working as a Medical Assistant (MA) at just 20 years old, and I still want to be involved in the medical field. I’m considering options like becoming an esthetician, or maybe even pursuing a career as an X-ray technician or a radiology tech. It’s quite a mix, right? 😅 I’m really confused about which path would be a good fit for me and would allow me to help others while also making decent money. 💰 Will it be worth the effort? I’ve even thought about ditching the medical field altogether and looking into becoming a paralegal, but I’ve noticed many places hire based on experience rather than formal education. So, is getting a pre-law degree even necessary? Honestly, I...

Is Leaving My Comfortable Government Job for Nursing Insane? Answers: https://lnkd.in/dMtkcS3M #CareerChange #Fulfillment #NursingJourney #WorkLifeBalance Hey everyone! 🌟 I wanted to get your thoughts on something that's been weighing on my mind. I'm currently a government marketing and communications manager, making nearly $100k a year. Sounds great, right? Well, here's the catch: I only work about 2-3 hours each day, and while I’m fully remote, I miss those face-to-face interactions that really energize me as an extrovert. I initially dove into this field out of a passion for journalism and helping people, but I feel like my current job is so far removed from that purpose. Here are a few pain points I’m wrestling with: Lack of Interaction: Working remotely is convenient but can feel isolating over time. I thrive on social interaction, and this role just isn’t providing that. Unfulfilling Work: It’s tough to feel motivated when no one seems to notice or care about what you do. I want my work to have a real impact! Desire for Change: I’m considering a complete shift to become a registered nurse. The idea of hands-on patient care excites me, and it feels lik...
