UX Redesign Weekday (YC W21) - Having visible scroll bars, especially in a website with multiple scrollable sections is crucial because users might not realize they've scrolled to the end of one section and entered another, potentially causing confusion. Visible scroll bars provide immediate visual feedback when a user interacts with the page, reinforcing the sense of control and responsiveness. *The current scroll bar implementation lacks visibility, appearing only during active scrolling via mouse wheel. This design choice may lead to poor user awareness, as users are not visually informed that additional content exists beyond the visible area. The absence of a persistent or hover-activated scroll bar could result in users overlooking important information or features, potentially impacting their overall experience and interaction with the list content. #userexperience #userpainpoint #userjourney #ux #uxdesigner

Building in public for UVIndex.SG – Added emojis to the UV Index reading to convey more emotion/feeling and fun to what's a pretty dry and clinical number. NEA doesn't show it on their own site, so I took the liberty to add it to improve the UX. What do you think? Kudos to Leon Voon for the idea! — #TechForGood #UX #Design
