It also coincides with the 75th Anniversary of the company whose Three Stripes Festival celebration happened in the HQs a couple of weeks ago and I had the great pleasure of enjoying the event in person with some of my team mates. 🔙 Looking back, some of the best times I have spent here includes when we, Mobile Team, won the IT Devops Cup, the lunch with the astronaut DR. Charles Camarda, the All Blacks event in Herzo, every trip to our HQs, every sports event and, of course, the Three Stripes Festival we had this year. Anyway, what makes very special working here is the people, my team mates: they are my highlight. 🧩 In an historical moment in which the Agile world is suffering and the skills needed have changed so much with Artificial Intelligence coming into the picture, I’m nowadays focused on adding the maximum value I can to our teams being an Agile Expert, Tech Project Manager or the way you prefer to call it. But always with passion! 🚀 I’m excited & motivated about comes next, I still see many areas where I can improve and I want to learn and I’m sure new doors and opportunities will come. 💭 How often do you think about future generations when speaking about diverse hiring 💭 Myself and Joanne Vazquez-Kirby had a good chat last week about how Skyscanner take social responsibility to look into education and work on initiatives to drive more under represented individuals into technology. Jess Madhavan gives a good example of rolling out a junior hiring day, welcoming people from all backgrounds (bootcamps, self study, universities) to provide the opportunity of getting into the industry. To really change what diverse representation looks like we need to start with future generations.

🌟 Embracing Autonomy in the Workplace🌟 Reflecting on a week spent working remotely from my cabin, I am filled with gratitude for the flexibility my work offers me. As a founder, resilience is key, but it also brings invaluable benefits. At TestHub.tech we prioritize autonomy for our team members, recognizing the profound impact it has on motivation and productivity. Last week underscored the benefits for me. 💻 I immersed myself in deep focus mode, free from city noise and office distractions. 🏔 Post-work time was spent skiing in breathtaking surroundings, without the stress of commuting. 🤳 I was able to make a conscious effort to detox from social media noise. I advocate for granting teams as much autonomy as possible, whether you are a large corporation or a smaller startup. The question arises: are we moving back to less autonomy post-COVID, or are freedoms here to stay? I would love to hear your thoughts!
