Shining a light on safety and security! 🌤️ A heartfelt thank you to our amazing supporters at Leadsun Australia who donated four solar street lights to help illuminate KTF's safe house - one of the only in Oro Province. These lights are critical for safeguarding our survivors who are taking the first steps to starting a new life and our staff helping to keep them safe. 🦋 Sustainable and reliable solar lights bring an essential sense of safety and security to those most vulnerable in our communities! Tenkyu tru Leadsun for your ongoing support 💙 💚

Be Kind - Be Grateful Working our way to 100. Next 5 #74 – When you are the summer fair and you win a stuff animal playing games, look around and give to a child and ask them to name it for you and to keep good care of it for you. They will sleep well that night with their new friend. #73 – At your local community center or cork board at the grocery store, put up a message inviting people to give thanks to people that you know visit that location. Seeing your name unexpectedly on the board brings the biggest smile to their face. #72 – If you have old prescription glasses that you no longer use, consider giving them to Lions Club or another not-for-profit that will send them out to places where eyewear is hard to obtain and costly. #71 – There are migrate works that come to assist with agriculture farming and their only way to get around is typically a bike. Donate your old bike to these hard-working people that often do what we are not willing to do. #70 – With herb gardens at their peak, take extra herbs and make up little bundles to give to friends with a note attached to the mint saying, ‘you are worth a mint to me’. Leave on doorstep and keep them guessing on who this might have come from.

Daan Utsav, celebrated from October 2nd to 8th, is an expression of gratitude. As someone who deeply believes in the power of giving, I have witnessed firsthand how this simple yet powerful act can transform lives and foster a sense of community and purpose. I’ve always promoted the spirit of giving in organizations by running campaigns that encourage employees to support societal well-being. These initiatives not only drive collective action but also cultivate a culture of generosity and mutual support. The resulting positive energy within the workplace often translates into increased morale and productivity. I believe, it is a way of acknowledging the abundance in our own lives and extending that abundance to others. This act of generosity can take many forms, and each form of giving contributes uniquely to the fabric of society, creating ripples of positive change. Whether it's through individual acts of kindness, organizing group efforts, or fostering a culture of giving within your community, there are countless avenues to make a difference. Scientific studies suggest that engaging in acts of kindness can trigger the release of endorphins and other ‘feel-good’ hormones in our brain, leading to a sense of happiness and well-being. This phenomenon, often referred to as the “helper’s high,” underscores the idea that giving is as much about benefiting the giver as it is about aiding the recipient. When we give, we engage in a meaningful exchange that strengthens bonds within our communities and builds trust and empathy. As we embrace the spirit of Daan Utsav, let us remember that giving is not limited to material possessions. Our time, expertise, compassion, and encouragement are all valuable resources. Let’s come together to celebrate, uplift, and inspire through the joy of giving! #DaanUtsav #Gratitude #JoyOfGiving #CSR #SocialWellbeing Aashu Calapa, Andrew Webster, ARUN GUPTA, Siddharth Mittal, Abhishek Zutshi, Daya Kori, Manoj Kumar Pananchukunnath, Nitin Tiwari, Naveen Narayanan, Vishal Nayyar, Amit Kaptain, Biswajit Banerjee, Renuka Ganesh, Devaraj P Shourya K. Daan Utsav, the festival of giving, is organised every year from 2nd to 8th October. This is the time to consciously remind ourselves and our circle of friends, colleagues, acquaintances, and family about the importance of gratitude and paying it back to society. I have personally believed that an attitude of gratitude determines one’s altitude. And altitude is not always about achieving a position; rather it is about contentment. Each one of us owes it to society to raise the bar, and this can happen only when we consciously realise the importance of giving, and practice giving. It could be individual or through your organisation, residential society or any other association/ group. So what are your plans to celebrate Daan Utsav? If you want to have a conversation and discuss ideas, feel free to reach out or visit www.daanutsav.org Money is not the only commodity that is fun to give. We can give time, we can give our expertise, we can give our love, or simply give a smile. What does that cost? The point is, none of us can ever run out of something worthwhile to give. ~ Steve Goodier Aashu Calapa | Amar Salvi | Priyanka Karekar | Mamta Nathani | Ashutosh Srivastava | Dr. Tanaya Mishra | Capt Anil Dhankher | Maninder Kapoor Puri | Pakzad Nussirabad | Sanjeev Chugh | Dr. Brillian S. Thank you for your incredible support on Orange Shirt Day! 🧡 We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us in honoring survivors, raising awareness about Residential Schools, and standing up for Truth and Reconciliation. Your purchases, donations, and voices are helping make a meaningful impact in supporting Anishnawbe Health Foundation and Indigenous-led healthcare. With your support, AHT can provide vital healthcare services, traditional healing programs, and initiatives that empower our community. Every contribution helps create a future where Indigenous peoples can thrive, grounded in our culture and traditions. Reconciliation is a journey we can commit to every day. Here are a few ways to continue the work: Educate Yourself: Learn more about Indigenous history, culture, and the ongoing impacts of colonialism. Support Indigenous Businesses: Prioritize buying from Indigenous-owned businesses and supporting their economic empowerment. Listen to Indigenous Voices: Follow Indigenous leaders, activists, and artists to understand their perspectives and amplify their messages. Acknowledge the Land: Recognize the traditional territories you live and work on and respect the significance of Indigenous lands. Advocate for Change: Support policies and initiatives that promote Indigenous rights, justice, and equality. Please continue this journey of learning and reconciliation every day. 🧡

With 48 hours left before heading to jail, I'm raising funds for Adland Bail Out. Your donations can make a difference in breaking the cycle of youth incarceration. Australia imprisons children as young as 10, with 8,982 young people aged 10-17 under youth justice supervision. Incarceration often leads to a 'revolving door' of reoffending, with 85% of young people returning within 12 months. Shockingly, 57% of detained young people are First Nations individuals, despite representing only 4% of the Australian population. Support the cause by donating at https://lnkd.in/gRwRte8V. Let's make a positive impact together. All credit to UnLtd. for organizing this initiative. #YouthJustice #AdlandBailOut #BreakTheCycle
