On this painful day, our thoughts are with those who are missing their loved ones as we continue to advocate for the release of all hostages and an immediate and permanent ceasefire. We will continue to assess how and when we can best support the health and humanitarian needs of those impacted by the events of October 7th, while remaining committed to the humanitarian principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence.

Tropical Storm Milton is intensifying in the Caribbean and is expected to make landfall in Florida as a Category 3-4 Hurricane by mid-week. The Tampa area is bracing for up to 8 inches of rain and storm surge, while inland communities could see 10 inches in just two days. A state of emergency has been declared in 35 counties. Project HOPE is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates.
