I'am so pleasure to annonce that I have successfully completed the manufacturing processes selection course on #Udemy Instructor: Dr. Ahmed Aboul Fotouh through this course, I have learned ghe differance between design and desgin for manufacturing, types of manufacturing processes, parametersvof process selsction, cost analysis, case studies likes ( kunckle joint, spur gear, bearing housing and kids toys) and I have learned about forging and casting processes. #manufacturing #process_selection #cost_analysis #design #metal_casting #RTE

It's the first of its kind in Texas, Dallas College Uniquely Abled Academy recently graduated its inaugural class at the Eastfield Campus. The 15-week program provides training for adults with level 1, high-functioning autism who would like to work in machine shops. With support from an industry advisory board, instructors and lab staff provide hands-on training through Dallas College School of Manufacturing and Industrial Technology (SOMIT) at Eastfield. The UAA in Machining Program is supported by a $640,677 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) Advanced Technical Education Program.
