With fall in full swing, deer are more active as they prepare for winter and begin their seasonal migration. This time of year also coincides with their mating season, meaning you’re more likely to encounter them near roadways, especially around dawn and dusk. Stay extra alert, slow down in areas known for deer crossings, and remember—if you see one deer, there are likely more nearby! Help keep our roads safe for both drivers and wildlife. #deersolution #deerrepellent #deerrepellant #deerdamage #deerdamagecontrol #deercontrol #pestcontrol #garden #allnaturalpestcontrol #FallSafety #DeerCrossing #DriveSafe #WildlifeAwareness #StayAlert

#Fact: Under the Migratory Birds Regulations, 2022, it is illegal for hunters to exceed the daily bag limit or to hunt outside of open season. In 2022, while patrolling the Acadian Peninsula region of New Brunswick, enforcement officers observed two individuals hunting sea ducks by boat off the coast of Le Goulet. Once the hunters reached shore, officers intercepted the hunters and found that they had 24 Scoter ducks, exceeding the 4-per-person daily bag limit in the area for this species. The hunters also had one Eider duck, although there was no open season in the area for Eiders at the time. The hunters were charged and were fined $3,000 each for violating federal wildlife legislation. The total fine will be directed to the Government of Canada’s #EnvironmentalDamagesFund. In addition to the fine, the two hunters are prohibited from holding a migratory game bird hunting permit and hunting migratory birds for a period of one year.
