The biggest hurdle of an addict: Thinking that no one understands what they’re going through. But really, no one understands better than the staff in our recovery centers. In fact, most of our staff are in recovery themselves. It’s why we place such an emphasis on community and connection – Our patients are able to hear each other’s experiences in group sessions and talk to staff who they feel understood by when they’re having a hard time.
