🌟 Invest in Your Mental Health for a Thriving Life 🌟 It’s interesting how we often spend freely on material things, yet hesitate to invest in our mental well-being. But here’s the truth: a small investment in mental health can lead to lasting change that touches every area of life! 🧠💡 Good mental health goes beyond feeling "fine"; it’s about resilience, clarity, and peace of mind in every moment. When we’re mentally balanced, we’re better equipped to handle life’s challenges, build stronger relationships, and find joy in everyday experiences. 🏆💬✨ Mental health is as essential—if not more—than physical health. 🌍✨ I realized this deeply when I studied the five elements that form both our bodies and the universe. Understanding this, combined with my journey in mudra therapy, has been life-changing over the past 18 months. 💪💫 Today, I’m sharing images of six basic mudras that are simple yet powerful tools for supporting physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. 👐 Practicing them takes just 5-10 minutes a day. 👋 No equipment needed—just your hands! Whether at your desk, walking, talking on the phone, or resting, these mudras are easy to incorporate. Deep breathing while practicing can amplify the benefits. 🌬️💖 Imagine experiencing less stress, better focus, and deeper connections—just by investing a few minutes a day in yourself. 🧘♀️💖🌱 For those seeking deeper insights, I also offer personalized consultations 🗣️, and I regularly conduct free sessions 📅 to raise awareness. Feel free to reach out if you're interested! 📩 📌 Let’s make mental health a priority. Your future self will thank you. 🌈🌞 #MentalHealthAwareness #MudraTherapy #FiveElements #SelfCareJourney #MindfulnessMatters #HealingFromWithin #LinkedInCommunity #HolisticWellbeing

Across all apps I have come across in meditation and mental health space, Waking Up really stands out. I couldn't find any news on their valuation and they remain bootstrapped. Calm (2.2 billion USD) and Headspace (3 billion USD) are the biggest names in this space right now. My belief is that a key component of mental health is a person's private philosophy; it helps you in keeping grounded. Also, it shows you a way when there is darkness on your path. Waking up has nailed this aspect. Along with giving a deeper sense to meditation, it uses the wisdom given by ancient schools of thought, with scholars who are experts in these areas giving lectures. It's tagline is - "A New Operating System for your mind". Breaking down mental health into its constituents, it has really tried to reboot how we perceive mental health. Waking Up

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded of the importance of prioritizing mental well-being, both individually and collectively. In a world that moves faster every day, taking a moment to pause, reflect, and nurture our minds is not just beneficial—it’s essential. At Intuitive Quest, we start our day with a mindfulness exercise that allows our mind, body, and spirit to tell us what they need from us. We also make it a practice to ask ourselves and others how we are feeling—and we don’t accept “good” or “fine” as answers. We have to be real with ourselves before we can be real with others. Mental health is a critical part of our overall well-being, impacting every aspect of our lives, from our personal relationships to our professional performance. Today is a call to action for leaders, organizations, and communities to foster environments where mental health is openly discussed, supported, and cared for. Let’s continue to break down the stigma surrounding mental health challenges and build cultures that encourage empathy, understanding, and balance. Whether it’s through mindfulness, open dialogue, or offering support to others, we all have a role in creating a more compassionate and healthy world.

As a part of Mental Health Awareness Month, Boys Town Central Florida is providing weekly mindfulness tips and activities for youth and their families! Today, let’s talk about reapproaching our feelings in our personal relationships. Use the tips below and fill out the page to help yourself and those around you better communicate big feelings! 🔵 "I feel/felt" - It's crucial to acknowledge our emotions. Sometimes, we might feel overwhelmed, anxious, or even misunderstood in a relationship. Saying "I feel" helps us express ourselves authentically. 🔴 "When this happened I" - When conflicts arise or misunderstandings occur, it's easy to shut down or lash out. But instead, we can choose to communicate openly. Saying "When this happened I" allows us to address specific situations without blame or judgment. ⚪ "What can we do instead" - Rather than letting unresolved feelings fester, let's find constructive ways to address them. We can actively listen, validate each other's emotions, and work together to find solutions. Let's create a safe space where honesty and understanding flourish. Remember, it's okay to feel, and it's okay to communicate. Let's empower each other to confront our feelings with courage and compassion. Together, we can nurture healthier, happier relationships!

🐻 Embracing simplicity for mental-wellbeing 🐻 Over the weekend, I read the wonderful "The Tao of Pooh" in preparation for Mental Health Awareness Week. This delightful book not only introduced me to the principles of Taoism but also offered a new perspective on nurturing mental well-being. In a world and industry that often feels chaotic and overwhelming, the Taoist philosophy is one I can get behind. It encourages us to embrace simplicity and find contentment in the present moment. Much like Pooh Bear himself, who finds joy in life's simple pleasures - whether that be enjoying a stroll in the forest or tucking into a jar of honey - we can cultivate a sense of peace by letting go of unnecessary complexities and focusing on what truly matters. One of the key lessons I took away from the book is the importance of living in harmony with the natural flow of our lives, rather than constantly resisting or trying to control it. What will be will be. As someone who struggles with being somewhat of a perfectionist, this attitude really resonated with me. By practising patience and acceptance, navigating life's challenges may come with greater ease. This Mental Health Awareness Week, I'm reminding myself to take a cue from Pooh and approach life with a sense of openness, curiosity, and kindness towards myself and others. My goal for this week is to prioritise self-care, embrace simplicity and practice a mindset of gratitude for the here and now. 💙 I can't recommend The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff enough!

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we at the Collaborative Therapy Network are encouraging you to toggle not just your digital settings but also your mental settings. Let's shift our focus from comparison to appreciation. Here’s how you can make a change: Adjust Your Digital Habits – Take control of your social media. Customize your feeds to minimize exposure to triggers of comparison and maximize content that inspires and uplifts you. Practice Gratitude – Start or end your day by listing three things you are grateful for. Gratitude shifts your focus from what's missing to what's present, enhancing your overall well-being. Be Present – Engage fully in the here and now. Try mindfulness techniques or simply immerse yourself in whatever activity you are doing. Presence reduces stress and increases joy. Be Yourself – Celebrate your unique qualities and embrace who you are. Authenticity fosters genuine connections and self-acceptance. 🌈 Use this month to set new patterns that nurture your mental health. Together, let's build a community that supports mental wellness through positive online and offline habits. Remember, you are enough, just as you are. 💚

Tomorrow, October 10th, is #WorldMentalHealthDay. As an immigrant or expat woman, what does mental health mean to you? To me, it's about maintaining balance in life by navigating emotions. It involves taking time to understand myself better, reassessing my core values, and learning strategies and tools to maintain that balance. It means not suppressing emotions that I was taught were bad, but rather acknowledging them and finding ways to transform them. You have the ability to change your emotions and have control over them. This doesn't mean forcing yourself to be positive when feeling overwhelmed, sad, or annoyed. It means not being controlled by your emotions. You decide how long you want to dwell on a specific emotion and when it's time to change it. Do you achieve this through willpower? No, you don't. There are many techniques you can use, and my favorite is the Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as EFT or Tapping. When working with clients, I teach them how to use Tapping to explore, acknowledge, and validate their emotions, so they can understand their emotions better. They recall past experiences, start to recognize patterns in their behaviors and triggers, and open up to solutions, possibilities, and new scenarios. I facilitate their healing process, empowering them. To celebrate World Mental Health Day, I would like to offer you my guide called "How to feel whole again while living in a foreign country". This guide walks you through three important steps: reassessing your core values, identifying your triggers, and participating in a guided tapping session to lower your cortisol levels and reconnect with your emotions. It's Mental Health Week, and the theme is CONNECTION. Life can be hard, especially when we're tired, sensitive, emotional, unwell. It can make it harder to feel OK and to function the way we'd like. ✅Sensory Approaches offer us quick and simple ways to improve how we feel and function. ✅They can help us connect compassionately to ourselves, others, the world, and nature. ✅We are all sensory beings, so we can all benefit (and have some fun!) using sensations to nurture our unique and precious nervous systems! Yesterday I delivered a workshop for the wonderful folk at Support Groups Queensland Inc. I subtitled our workshop - How to feel better when you don't feel OK! I created a 7 DAY SENSORY CHECK IN tool to help us focus on an area where we'd like to feel better, using a different sense each day of the week. If you'd like to use the 7 DAY SENSORY CHECK IN tool: ✔️Check out the comments. ✔️Follow as I check in here over Mental Health Week focusing on a different sense each day! ✔️Start by focusing on something you want for yourself - 🤗This week I want to support my... I'm planning to focus on CONNECTING TO MYSELF. In my work and in my personal life I have been supporting others through times of stress, so I want to take a little time each day checking in around sensory inputs to nurture myself. What would you like to focus on for yourself this week?
