Exceptional #care begins with those who feel truly valued. At Prolink, we know that when our nurses are recognized and supported, they are empowered to deliver the highest standard of care. That’s why we partner with the #DAISY Foundation to celebrate the remarkable contributions of our #nurses. This month, we proudly presented the DAISY Award for June to Jenna R., a nurse who exemplifies excellence in every aspect of her work. Since joining Prolink in 2021, Jenna has consistently shown #compassion and professionalism. "When I arrived in my room, Jenna completed her assessment with extraordinary care. She was compassionate, kind, professional, and always prompt in answering my questions and attending to any care I needed," said one of Jenna's patients. It’s this #dedication that not only sets our nurses apart but also strengthens the bonds we share with our healthcare partners.

In the month of May, The Nursing Beat sold out sponsorship in our daily digital #newsletter for #nurses. That surely wasn't the case two years ago and my advice to those building a media brand is: 👉 Forge connections, not transactions - Earning trust is key. Taking the time to build a relationship and gain mutual respect will carry you farther - a quick sell never works in the long run. 👉 Listen - It's easy to talk about yourself and what your organization can bring to the table, but the true value lies in understanding a company's challenges and offering solutions. 👉 Don't take 'no' personally - It might not be the right time, there might not be alignment in goals - But that can shift, so you have to consistently reassess your relationship with organizations to determine if there's a fit. As we enter Nurses Week on Monday, I am super proud of the organizations that we are partnering with at The Nursing Beat, who continue to serve as true allies in building a better future for #nursing. #nursesonlinkedin

This week is "Simplify Your Life Week" and that got me thinking about how complicated nursing has become. For all of my nursing friends, utilize this week to think about how you can simplify your week (and weeks to come) to make your life a little easier to manage. Nursing is a calling and it breaks my heart to hear of so many losing their passion whether it be high patient numbers for one nurse, poor leadership, violence, and countless hours working the floors. We need to get back to simplicity and I hope this week can be that kickstart for you. #SimplifyYourLifeWeek #Nursing #NursingShortage #Nurses #Leadership

In the words of Jose Arnold Tariga, To all the dedicated nurses out there who do not feel empowered, remember that your self-perception is a powerful tool in your professional and personal journey. Keep these 3 lessons in mind: ✅Self-Value is Your Compass - In the demanding world of healthcare, how you value yourself is crucial. Recognize your skills, compassion, and resilience. Your self-worth should come from within, not just from patient outcomes or colleagues' feedback. Remember, you are more than a nurse; you are a beacon of hope and a pillar of strength. ✅Resilience in the Face of Critique - Nursing can be a field of intense scrutiny and high expectations. Understand that feedback, whether positive or negative, is a part of your growth, but it does not define you. Your inner resilience and belief in your capabilities are what truly matter. Let these be your shield and guiding force. ✅Empathy Begins with You - To continue providing exceptional care, start by being empathetic towards yourself. Acknowledge your efforts and forgive your shortcomings. Empowering yourself means understanding your limits and giving yourself the same kindness and patience you offer to your patients. As nurses, you are pivotal in the health and well-being of countless lives. Let the way you see yourself empower you to face challenges with confidence and grace. Your self-view is the lens through which you interact with the world; make sure it reflects your true strength and dedication. As MLK Jr will say “If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward” Sure, I can't say less, Just Keep Moving. #TransformationTuesday #PersonalDevelopment #EmpoweredNurseMentor #Nurses #NursesOnLinkedin

Magnet & Pathway to Excellence Program Appraiser @ American Nurses Credentialing Center, Accomplished Service Line Nurse Leader, & Internationally Certified Practice Environment Specialist | CCRN, CGNC, HACP-CMS-IC
One thing is for sure. If an organization doesn’t offer transition to practice programs new and experienced registered nurses, the organization needs one FAST! ANCC offers a great framework to enculturate and build upon. When effectively implemented and maintained, these programs drive positive improvements on one-year turnover rates. Professional nursing shouldn’t settle for anything less than the national standard. #PaintTheWorldGreen #PaintTheWorldBlue
The #ANCCPTAP & #APPFA #Team thanks you for 10 amazing years of #transition to #practice #accreditation. #Cheers to many more years of raising the bar! #RNResidency #APPFellowship #RNfellowship #nurse #accreditation #ancc Kristen Evans, MSN-Ed, RN, NPD-BC, Candice Malone BSN, RN, Stephanie Darby, MSN-Ed, RN, NPD-BC, Shirley Tumang MSN-Ed, RN, PCCN American Nurses Association
