Pretty interesting article on GenAI tooling for devs…. What are others seeing? Anyone out there measuring this? We just launched some GenAI effectivness capabilities into Spftware engineering insights but I haven’t seen it in action just yet. https://lnkd.in/gJprPbky

If you're writing ai agents, this is a game-changer. Allows models to use tools like sqlmap, nikto, amass, nmap, scapy, and tons of others with one simple line of code. Lots of work has gone into building these tool definitions so that you don't have to. Absolutely incredible work by @evilsocket and the dreadnode team.
“It’s like man pages, but for robots!” Check out v0.4.0 of robopages, which uses YAML based files to describe external tools to LLMs. It eliminates the tedious task of manually writing JSON declarations and facilitates more dynamic and flexible external utility<>LLM interactions. New updates from Dreadnode Principal Software Architect Simone Margaritelli (@evilsocket) include: 🤖 Support for executing commands on another host via SSH. 🤖 A new ‘validate’ command for easier integration into CI workflows. 🤖 Support for shared environment variables via new ‘${env.VARIABLE}’ and ‘${env.VARIABLE or default}’ syntax. 🤖 Several quality of life improvements and integrations with 13 new tools including, Virustotal, Nuclei, Katana, Scapy and ZAP. AI - The new kid on the embedded block! Curious how AI can be leveraged for firmware development? Then check out Jacob Beningo’s upcoming Free Webinar! Jacob is the author of one of my favorite books about writing low level firmware, in particular drivers: „Reusable Firmware Development, A practical approach to APIs, HALs and Drivers“ This book not only helped me to technically understand the approach to develop drivers, but also to understand the philosophy about reusability on this level, up to creating a „BSP“ style driver library. So if Jacob is creating a Webinar about AI/FW-Development - That’s definitely a reason to be excited and curious 🤓 #embedded #embeddedsystem #embeddedsoftware

How Generative AI is Transforming Code Debugging Debugging is an essential part of the software development lifecycle. It's the process of identifying, analyzing, and removing errors or bugs from code to ensure that software functions as intended. With the growing complexity of software systems, debugging has become increasingly challenging. Analyze the definition of code debugging, explore various debugging techniques, and discuss how generative AI is revolutionizing the automation of this process. #Formclick #NoCode #GenerativeAI #CodeDebugging #AIDevelopment #TechInnovation #TechTrends

Hey Tech Leads! When developers pairing with a GenAI coding assistant they often become fuzzy about what the code actually does... or how it actually works on the deep technical level. So it's even more important to run the code through the due diligence. Your CI/CD should check for coding standards, vulnerabilities, memory leaks, etc. It's mandatory anyway but it's even more important in this shiny new world of GenAI assisted software development. The bottom line is that with some advanced prompt engineering and/or fine tuning the model you can get these standards from the getgo. #genai, #devx, #codingassistant, #copilot, #tabnine
