Incredible to confirm that 13.8% of #nursinghomes use agency nursing staff on a DAILY basis, accounting for 11% of all direct care #nursing staff hours. With agency rates at 50-60% higher than FTEs and most homes using a higher percentage of agency has lower quality rating, something needs to change!
