“More than 1/2 of nurses are likely to switch jobs this year.“ That’s what the headline of this article reads. But where does the “research” come from? A study done by a temporary staffing company ( registry/ locums). Locums nurses and registery staff are always changing jobs. That’s the name of the game. I did registry nursing & locums for most of my career. Every 3-6 months I usually had a new assignment. So, this article is extremely misleading since the study was done by a company employing temporary nurses who usually change “job assignments” pretty frequently. I personally work with 2 medical assistants who are currently in #nursingschool. It was incredibly difficult for both to get into a nursing school since they have long waitlists.
