Fellow marketers, how often do you recommend your clients building an audience on a new platform from scratch? Our agency recently had such a case with Pinterest. Our client, the clothing brand EVERY PERSON (a brand for tall people), requested a new audience, and we suggested trying it there. Our rationale was based on the idea that product businesses and accounts focused on visual components have a good chance of attracting customers on an image-oriented platform. Therefore, we recommended that the EVERY PERSON should just go to the platform and establish a presence there, even if Pinterest is less popular in Russia (where the client is based) than Instagram, Telegram and other platforms. Just one figure to impress you: from November to April, when we were taking care of their account, their views raised from 8,100 to 234,000.
