As your brand scales It's extremely important to know your logistics partners are in it for the long haul. Questions around company stability and long term vision need to be asked. They could be uncomfortable to discuss. Better to ask and have thorough answers as opposed to not asking at all and being on the wrong end of a decision. Questions you can ask: Have there been any recent changes in your executive leadership team? How does your leadership team plan to navigate potential market challenges in the coming years? What has been your revenue growth over the past few years? Can you provide examples of how you have successfully scaled in the past? How do you ensure operational continuity during disruptions or economic downturns? Can you share any key metrics or feedback from your existing clients? These are just some that popped into my head. I am sure I am missing a lot. Anything good here that stuck out or more you would ask?

"Hey, can you pull some deals in from Q2? Offer a discount to sign now, I need it to make my number." <-- if you're saying this, you're asking reps to pay for your mistakes. I seen this firsthand and heard it 100x from others. As leaders, it's on us to make our number, not to hide that we did while costing a rep their commission while potentially having them harm their relationship and credibility with a client. Making this ask not only harms the business and morale in the short term, but in the long term as it doesn't take an honest look at how we got here. As leaders, our job is to inspire our teams, to help them strategically, and to have honest conversations with leadership about how we win - we're in these roles for a reason and it's to hold a high bar on integrity and accountability, not to hide behind numbers that were forced, shielding patterns that will repeat themselves quarter over quarter. #samsales
