Do you use black mould sprays? You know the kind you can buy in the shops to treat the stuff condensation creates? Let me explain why I ask... You probably know that a major ingredient of black mould sprays is chlorides - a salt. You can also see salt in the plaster of this wall from where it's damp. Salt actually attracts moisture from the atmosphere and so the cycle of damp continues. Leaving a chloride residue after cleaning black mould on your plaster walls/ceilings could be counterproductive, and actually result in more damp problems!
