De-fogging your brand. Websites, branding, brand messaging, photography, web copy for small businesses that want to make a positive difference.
There's nothing wrong with using stock photography for your website. Just remember.... ...there's stock photography and there's stock photography. Choose wisely. Avoid bland, meaningless, and cliched. Avoid images that make you look like everyone else. And please, please, please don't use stock photographs of people or premises to give the misleading impression that they show *your* business...(I've seen it done...and it really doesn't look good when prospective clients discover the reality). PS While I offer professional photography to clients, I also help them to source stock photographs and graphics that are a fit for their brand message and the website I'm building. #WebsitePhotography #WebsiteTips #SmallBusinessBranding

After adding new pages to my Pixpa photography portfolio, I realized my website was missing some things! Here are my top three things that should be checked before publishing a photography website: 1. Watermarks: while this may not be important to some, I realized my photos could be stolen from my website with ease. Pixpa easily allows users to generate an eye-catching watermark to prevent theft! 2. Mobile Use: although a page may look perfect on desktop, it’s always important to view the entire website through the mobile browsing preview option. This way, you can ensure your photos are displayed in a mobile-friendly format. 3. Photo Sequence: this might not seem important, but the order of photos in a gallery adds to the professionalism and structure of a page! For some pages, I like to shuffle my photos so that similar shots are not all grouped together. On other galleries with distinct themes, I keep them separated! I’ve attached a “before” for my websites mobile gallery for Vienna, Austria! Go check out the “after” at: acphotography.pixpa.com #photography #photographer #websitebuilding #websitetips #entrepreneur #pixpa

This is the most common question I get asked about the Baby Photography Club - what's the catch? Honestly there isn't one. It is what you see, you get... - Three sessions in your baby's first year - one each at roughly four, eight and twelve months - You can choose a free gift of either a free digital image from each session or your favourite from each session in a frame at the end of the year - The cost for the sessions and your gift (so either the frame or the digitals) is £39.95 You simply buy what you'd like from each session as you if (if you want to). A lot of photographers like to offer this type of scheme then catch you out with sales and high priced items after the session so to reassure you, there's no sales process, you view everything in your private gallery online and there's no minimum spend. There's no secrets about my prices... https://lnkd.in/e5FnagQH That' s it. Honestly. Though if you have questions, you can always ask me!

Why your photos look BORING! 😴📸 - Tired of your photos looking uninspired compared to others? Let me share a game-changing tip with you that turned my photography around! In a fast paced photoshoot, I stick to my fail-proof 3-angle rule: 🔹 Low 🔹 Medium 🔹 High It might seem simple, but trust me, it's a game-changer. Many photographers inadvertently limit themselves to one or two angles, resulting in stale photography. By mastering these three angles, you'll unlock a whole new level of creativity and variety in your shots, perfect for impressing clients and captivating your audience on social media. - If you're looking to level up your photography, check out my page for more videos like this! - #Photography #photographytips #photographytechniques #CreativeAngles
