Finding the right Digital Marketing talent can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. Some of the biggest challenges to recruitment in Berlin at the moment are: 💰🤷♂️Digital Marketers are being given unrealistic salary expectations by shitty recruiters. 💸Competing with the “Someone else will always pay more” dilemma. 📥Hundreds of applications, but less than 5 who fit the requirements of the role. 📉Not enough applications. 🚫People not replying to direct sourcing. 🏡❌People wanting fully remote when you don’t offer that. 🏝️People wanting 6 months of workation when you can’t offer that. ☎️40+ screening calls for only 1 or 2 people progressing to the second stage. 🐢Long and drawn out process’, losing their perfect candidate to a competitor along the way. 🎯🔍 Unable to find people with niche skills, such as languages, PMax, TikTok, Real Time Bidding etc., ⚔️Counter offers. It’s a big list - lots can go wrong, and these are just the problems I know about from my clients. Have I missed anything?
