On #AI and body inclusivity: It’s not that the tool is good or bad, it’s how we apply it! If you are using AI images, take the time to request a variety of body shapes and sizes. Don’t recreate the hegemony of thinness that reigned supreme in the pre-2000’s advertising culture. AI actually makes it easier and cheaper to create diverse representation. You don’t need to cast diverse models, you just need to request them. Yet, over and over, I see what is delivered without adjusting the prompt is a THIN body. Advertisers and e-commerce sites are taking the time to diversify AI models because it leads to better conversion. Take the time to diversify the AI generated people you are making with generative AI for your internal docs, pitch decks, and presentations too. #technology #bodyneutrality #vc #AI #artificialintelligence
