Can we be safer? What does that mean? Meet our Director - Ben Ben Mucjanko started with Global Cabling – a one-stop shop for solutions in electrical, communications, fire detection, security, nurse call, and much more - in 1995. Working his way from apprentice to tradesman, project manager and now Director, Ben enjoys working with a variety of different people, projects and completing challenging projects to the high standard of quality our clients have come to expect. Explain I am a Manufacturing Production Associate and I build seats for buses and trains. How long have you been with United Safety? Almost a year. How has your career grown with the company? I have built leadership skills and relationships with my colleagues. I practice dedication and commitment to the work I do. What does United Safety's culture mean to you? I am grateful to be part of a company with such great culture. It truly feels like a big family where I feel safe to be myself. Why do you love working for United Safety? I like the precision required in this line of work and in building certain things. I enjoy the rush that comes with my work and having the capacity to build a certain amount of seats to complete an order. Today we would like to introduce you to our Safety and Compliance Officer, Natasha.   Natasha has built a stellar reputation within the Starbuck team thanks to her willingness to always help those around her. If you have ever registered your gear with Starbuck Plant Hire or needed some assistance with compliance, chances are you have had the pleasure of speaking with her at some point.   —   ▫️Job Title: Safety and Compliance Officer   ▫️Years working with Starbuck? 3.5   ▫️What are your key responsibilities? Planning and implementing subcontractor and employee safety and compliance at work.   ▫️Previous work history? Legal Secretary in Workplace Relations Representing Employees   ▫️What is your proudest moment in your job? 8 or 9 months into my role the Superintendent of a Tier 1 Major Project sent an email to Jimmy and our COO complementing our Company on how much our compliance systems had improved.  This moment gave me the confidence to keep growing with the Company.   ▫️What has been your biggest challenge? I experienced my biggest challenge the first year and a half I worked for Starbuck.  I initially faced a lot of resistance in gaining the trust and credibility from a lot of the boys.  However, with perseverance and a lot of open discussions with employees at the time I overcame that hurdle.   ▫️What is your favourite thing about working at Starbuck? Definitely the support and crazy family-like atmosphere.
