This is a recent automation work we performed for a client. The picture was taken before commissioning on the top of the building and the addition of welded supports. The client has a 4 inch inlet for the water tank and the flow rate was so high that the traditional ball cock was failing each time. They wanted a fool-proof way of water filling. The module is customisable and made on demand. This means that on a single PCB , it displays: - Water level or any parameter you wish(temperature or pressure) - Relays to actuate external equipment based on real-time sensor data - Possibility of adding RS-485 communication for BMS - Possibility of SMS notifications with an additional module The valves were chosen for their extreme reliability. The solenoid is IP67 rated and all fulfilled by our partner in Europe. In this particular case, we adapt the system to filling a water tank. But the possibilities are limitless: waste water, water transfer, temperature management, hot water distribution, remote automation without human interaction , etc. This is in line with our prospects of proposing connected and automated solutions in regards to water. In this era of new technologies, one should not remain idle.

High Resolution Flow Calculator and Safety Alarm Plants that have large fluctuations in flow demand, like potable water plants, often need large flow capacity measuring devices that don’t create large pressure reductions. Venturi tubes are good for these applications, but often if the flow span is large, consistent accuracy across the entire flow range is difficult to achieve. One way to alleviate this is to use double stacked differential pressure transmitters where one DP transmitter is ranged for lower flow rates while the other handles higher flow rates. With this type of configuration, there needs to be some type of smart device involved to automatically switch between transmitters to achieve the best flow accuracy results. The SLA Safety Logic Alarm provides this decision-making capability and the safety layer of protection needed to alert the plant when demand has reached very high levels. While safety PLCs can accomplish such tasks, there may be a number of reasons why it is not convenient: cost, remote locations, difficulty of programming, or simply that the PLC has no spare memory capacity. This figure shows the SLA installed as a high-resolution flow calculator and safety alarm.

Supports more industrial protocols and standards, and can be seamlessly integrated with industrial control systems. Industrial readers are widely used in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, transportation, energy and other fields, suitable for automated production lines, warehouse management systems, asset tracking and so on. Of course, compared to commercial readers, the cost of industrial readers is also higher.

For instance, considering four inverters with running times of 2, 3, 4, and 5 hours respectively, during start-up, Inverter 1 will commence operation first due to its lower running time, followed by Inverters 2, 3, and 4 sequentially. Conversely, during shutdown, Inverter 4 will cease operation first, followed by Inverters 3, 2, and 1, considering their descending order of running times. 2. Dry Run Protection: Dry run protection is incorporated into the drive with parameters ranging from F5-19 to F5-24, facilitating detection and prevention of water shortage. These parameters encompass settings related to water shortage detection timing, frequency, and detection current. 3. Leak Detection or Pipe Burst: Parameter F5-42 is dedicated to detecting leakages or pipe bursts, enhancing operational safety and preventing potential damages. 4.
