𝐄𝐔 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 2 (𝐈𝐂𝐒2) 🌍🛂 The 𝐄𝐔 #ICS2, a new process for entry of goods by maritime and inland waterways, road and rail in the EU. This was created to comply with the requirement for advance electronic data on all shipments coming to or via the European Customs Union comprising of the 27 EU member states and Northern Ireland, Switzerland, and Norway. This regulation applies also to freight remaining on board(𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐁). Economic operators sending goods to or through the EU, here are the key dates. 🗓️ 3 June 2024 – 4 December 2024: maritime and inland waterway carriers 🗓️ 4 December 2024 – 1 April 2025: maritime and inland waterway house level filers 🗓️ 1 April 2025 – 1 September 2025: road and rail carriers The e2open 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐌) 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐚𝐒 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 has successfully completed its Conformance Testing 🖥️ and is ready to Go-Live for the new EU #ICS2 Release 3 💯.
