This breakthrough was only possible by tapping external innovation. Not Co. employs an AI system called "Giuseppe" that analyzes the molecular makeup of animal products and identifies plant-based ingredients that can precisely mimic that structure. By combining Not Co's pioneering technology with Oscar Mayer's brand power and distribution capabilities, they aim to overcome the taste barrier limiting plant-based meat adoption. This partnership highlights the immense potential of open innovation strategies. Instead of going it alone, Kraft Heinz embraced an innovative startup to catalyze progress in an area proving difficult to crack through internal efforts alone. The Not Co. hot dog will debut in March at Expo West, a trade show for natural and organic products, and will begin rolling out to major retailers later this year. From plant-based food options to eco-friendly fertilizers and even air conditioners, these companies are paving the way for a greener future. 🔎 Venturing into New Territory: I was thrilled to witness brands venturing into uncharted product categories. Take, for example, a famous chocolate powder brand that foray into the world of cookies. It's exciting to see companies pushing boundaries and exploring new avenues. 💭 Redefining Packaging: One particular brand caught my eye with their innovative packaging approach. I was amazed to find a plant-based hamburger neatly tucked inside a glass jar. It's a game-changer that not only reduces waste but also enhances the product's freshness. 💖 Making a Difference: Among all the remarkable products, the ones that truly stole my heart were the cookies shaped like endangered animals. This ingenious idea serves as a powerful tool to raise environmental awareness among children, making a positive impact on the next generation.
