"Bet on the turnaround ? Indian IT is set for a comeback with big deals driving growth!" >>Indian IT companies are signing more deals this quarter, indicating a gradual recovery in demand after a slowdown. Key IT service providers in India secured at least 33 deals in July and August, as per ET data. >>Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced four major deals, including Primark, Rolls-Royce, Sydney Marathon, and McDonald’s Philippines. >>Infosys, TCS’s closest competitor, signed three deals in July, with additional agreements from companies like Sector Alarm, Delaware’s Department of Labor, TDC Net, Metro Bank, and Finland’s Posti Group. >>The overall demand is recovering at a slower pace, with more smaller and shorter-term contracts. However, some large, transformative deals are still being signed, which is a promising sign. >>Furthermore, around 700 contracts worth $26 billion are up for renewal between August and December, potentially driving further growth for the sector. IT Sector is all set to comeback

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 500 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 released on Wednesday at Davos shows the top ranking companies globally. Some insights are: ☑ 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 has experienced an impressive 74% increase in its brand value, regaining its status as the most valuable brand globally with a significant lead. ☑ In the field of Artificial Intelligence, 𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐀 has witnessed remarkable growth, with its brand value soaring by 163%, making it the fastest-growing brand worldwide. ☑ 𝐃𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐤𝐨𝐦, the most valuable brand in Europe, has not only secured the top position in global telecommunications but has also earned a spot in the global top 10. ☑ 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐥𝐚 has slipped out of the top 10, dropping to the 18th position. ☑ 𝐓𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 is the only Indian company among the top 100 most valued brands of Brands Finance 2024 followed by Infosys, LIC, HDFC, and Reliance Group. #apple #tatagroup #tesla #deutschebank #nvidia

#Surveys are scary at times (most times). Including the funny ones that mention 40% marriages end in divorce, 60% in death 💀 We’ve seen bad surveys in action as well like #Jira implementing precision in #StoryPoints because most of its users asked for it (my best bet still is that it was a shared data type and they just wanted to cover up a tech debt that was very difficult to solve). There’s a couple more that I’ve seen recently (fake most likely), like one survey that mentioned 90% of developers in #startups say that #ProjectManagers slow them down. Another survey in India suggested that 90% startups fail. Although one shouldn’t draw parallels but humans being humans, one can say that the 10% startups that succeed don’t have a project manager; to go a step further, a very noble organisation can say that the 10% successful startups employ #ScrumMasters. Driving such conclusions from surveys is incorrect and at times dangerous. One of the other I’ve heard several times is that #Agile is a software concept and doesn’t apply to other parts of the business (hence #BusinessAgility). Digital transformation requires a vision beyond digital. It is about effectively managing organizational change. Connecting the change initiatives to bigger organization goals and the priorities of board, management helps maintain momentum and engagement among employees. By aligning the change efforts with what matters most to the organization, the chances of digital and business success increase significantly.
