We have certified these really fast drives from Kioxia with both ATTO's Smart NVME HBAs and ATTO's Fibre Channel HBA. Really impressive drives with capacity at almost 31T. Wow very nice product! It's pretty obvious why we certified these Enterprise NVME SSDs with our Smart NVME HBAs - as they directly attach SSD to the HBAs. But why certify with ATTO's Fibre Channel (FC) HBAs as well? Well, that is because we also test for full interoperability and performance in several storage chassis that support FC-NVMe. FC-NVMe offers the advantages of higher performance, and reduced latency when transferring data using the NVMe command set. This NVME is a lighter command set in comparison to the SCSI command set used as part of standard FC protocol. See the advantages of using ATTO HBAs in your solutions! There is a difference!
