Choosing the right number of marketing channels can make or break your entire strategy. So how do you do this? Three things to look at (in no particular order, though some of you would probably have a preference): Your resources (budget, staff, time). Your audience. Your goals. These three things will determine which channels to prioritize and develop first. Most businesses can’t and shouldn’t start with omnichannel marketing right away due to a lack of resources. Many businesses don’t need to use every single channel because their audience is not there or their quarterly/yearly goals can be achieved with a single channel. Narrow down your choices by finding out where your target audience is. Then determine the resources you have available to reach your goals and which channels will get you there the fastest.
