On 18-Oct-23, I joined your company as an Assistance Manager, but it has become apparent that your company has engaged in fraudulent practices that have caused me financial and emotional harm. The fraudulent activities I have experienced include exploitation of my labor without receiving the promised salary. I was made to work from 8 am to 10:30 pm without being compensated for my time and effort. Additionally, I was promised a partial salary for the first month with the assurance of receiving the full salary upon relocating to Pune, which led me to invest 25k in the form of rent and deposit. However, despite fulfilling my end of the agreement, I was abruptly removed from my position without any prior notice or communication, and my attempts to contact the company have been ignored. I demand immediate action to rectify this situation and provide me with the compensation I am owed for the work I performed. Furthermore, I expect your company to take responsibility for its fraudulent actions and provide restitution for the financial losses and emotional distress caused by your deceptive practices. If this matter is not addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner, I will have no choice but to escalate this complaint to the relevant authorities and pursue legal action to seek restitution for the damages caused by your company's fraudulent practices. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter. Failure to do so will result in further action being taken against your company. My cab driver dropped me off 1km before my drop point Rather than getting pissed at him, I started looking for what’s next? Surendran J calls this CTC - Cut The Crap I’m either ways going to look for what’s next whether I get pissed or not. So best to cut through to that When I started walking, Bangalore traffic was clogged and it was a straight line of 1 km I thought I’ll ask a lift from someone and get to the location sooner So I ask strangers this “Hello sir, will you drop me 600m straight from here?” Bike rider 1: No, I’m taking a left after this signal There was no left, but I get it So I go again “Hello sir, will you drop me 400m straight from here?” Bike rider 2: No, I don’t want to I appreciate this guy’s honesty & upfront rejection. Good on him to express himself So I go again “Hello sir, are you going straight for a distance?” (My ask changed) Bike rider 3: Yes? “Awesome. Is it ok if you can drop me in 800m?” Bike rider 3: Yes sure :) ========================= There’s a great sales lesson here Prospects are like bike riders - Some don’t want to hurt you, so they lie - Some are upfront & reject you. Good - Some will take your offer It’s about going on without letting rejections bringing you down It’s their choice to reject It’s your choice to persist Make your choice Live with it

Motorcycling and understanding people. Never judge a person by his appearance. Appearance can be deceptive. As the saying goes never judge a book by its cover. The same is applicable to people as well. Sharing my experience August 2003 I purchased a brand new std Bullet 500 cc Royal Enfield motor cycle. Was a very proud owner and rider as there were very few owners of Bullet and far few owners of the std 500 cc(left side brake) during that time. I used to do my field sales calls on this bike and was the envy of others as most of them used 100cc bikes at that time . The bike created a lot of curiosity and opened new conversations with existing, prospective customers and others helped me stand out 😊. One afternoon I was returning from a meeting from South Mumbai and the new bike developed a snag at Prabhadevi. Could be a fuel or an electrical issue. I called up the showroom Twin city motors , Navi Mumbai on remote help and see if they could send someone. It was too far and they couldn’t. A middle aged gentleman walking by wearing some worn out clothes asked me if he could help fix the issue. I thought to myself what will this guy know about motorcycles and brushed him off. 30-45 mins sweating it out trying to get help and fix the issue in Mumbai October heat I began to lose patience. Someone informed me that there is a bike garage some 500 meters ahead. I walked to the garage and to my utter surprise the same middle aged gentleman who I brushed off earlier was the owner of the garage. I apologised to him for my silly behaviour. He fixed my bike in 10-15 minutes, during my conversation I learned he was passionate about bikes and racing since a teenager and had a collection. Further informed that he lost a son in a bike accident. I was deeply taken aback. Learned a lesson for life that never judge anyone by their appearance. Listen to people , be patient as you never know what they are going through or have been through. Applied this in my personal and professional life and the connections I made with people were authentic, real irrespective of their status , titles, age , financial status or what they do for a living or what they can do for you. Bike 1: •Been listed for 9 months •Price reduced by 12% •Fractionally less than list price but almost a year into the 2 year warranty Bike 2: •Been listed for 6 months •Price reduced by 10% •Fractionally less than list price with less than 18months of 2 year warranty left Bike 3: •Been listed for less than a month •Price £5,000 less than list and between £5,000 and £6,000 against other secondary maket bikes •Significantly less than list price but almost a year into the 2 year warranty, given it has not sold the buyers clearly feel a year old pre-registered bike is work far less than the stated price.
