As any VC, one of our favorite things is to invest more than once in the same founders. They know the drill, and they’ve done it before. That's precisely what our fund, #PSVTech01, recently had the chance to do. Today is launch day for spektr, which means we can finally shout from the rooftops that we've backed power founders Ciprian Florescu and Mikkel Skarnager once again. This time not as a duo, but a quartet, as they've gotten Jan-Erik Wagner and Jeremy Joly on board the new founder team 👌 In 2021, we invested in Mikkel and Cip's first company, #HelloFlow, but before we could even say HelloFl… the company was acquired 💸 While it was a great exit story, our collaboration with the two was way too short. Luckily, they soon enough discovered that they had a craving to go back to the sweet-and-sour startup candy shop 🍭 We’re thrilled to announce the second episode of our partnership with the two visionaries. Alongside friends at Northzone and Seedcamp, we've backed Spektr's €5m seed round. This is one of VisionTech's big wins of 2023: 31 VisionTech Angels writing checks totaling $259,000 to femtech startup Flyte led by Lydia Zeller over two rounds. The back story is some investors didn't totally understand the problem being solved by Flyte (female urinary incontinence). After due diligence and getting to know Lydia, our investors became believers. When Lydia began meeting and exceeding milestones, well, more investors jumped on board.
