My first job was of a Telesales Agent! Yes, as I am writing from 2017 (as a part-time freelance writer), but after completing my graduation in 2020, I was hopeless about the on site job. I dropped about 35+ resumes within 3 months and the response was zero. Anyways, I did not lose hope and focused on my technical skills. Also, I continued writing for my clients. In 2021, I joined a call center company because someone told me it's aboutvselling electricity and gas in United Kingdom....As I had no idea about it, I stepped into the industry. Got my training of 2 weeks and secured highest marks in final viva... Anyways, I got shortlisted and offered a job, I was happy to join... The job started and timing was 2PM to 12AM. Continuous calls, dialings, blah blah blah...... I was able to secure my first sale within 11 days, but it made me bore ... like I was not liking it, so I left the company (They did not even paid me for 15 days which a non professional behaviour) Then I joined an IT company where I gave my first interview, wrote a 1000 words content, and got a job offer... Salary was a little lower than what I was offered in call center, but I loved the environment, people, and there my writing journey officially started! I started to learn & experiment things on my own in spare time. And today after a struggle and learning of 3 years, I am able to handle on page and SEO content writing projects. Super satisfied with what I have earned in my writing career of more than half a decade...(from a part time freelance writer to officially on-page expert) Also, I thank to call center job that helped me polish my communication. And now I am planning to teach newbie writers the true art of content creation. Should I do it or not? Let me know in the comment section!

Would you be interested in meeting Upwork's highest-paid Pakistani writer? I'm planning to arrange a meetup for writers in Karachi. You'll get to meet top Upwork freelancers such as Iftikhar Alam and Atif Munawar. This might be a great chance to: → Network with successful freelancers. → Learn tips and tricks from the best. → Share your experiences and challenges. → Get inspired and motivated. I want this event to be valuable for everyone so we'd love to know any ideas how it should be planned. Got any ideas?

Helping Founders Generate Leads & Unlock Business Opportunities | Content That Cuts Through The Noise | Personal Branding Strategist
“I know people who charge less” I’m sure you’ve heard this from a prospect and thought what’s the perfect reply to that question 🤔 While “I know people who pay more” is a savage response, it’s still not ideal. You want to build relationships as a freelancer, not close doors for any future collaborations. So, how do you respond to this question? There are 2 scenarios. Hear me out- 1️⃣ They haven’t found the right fit yet If they’re on a call with you, they obviously haven’t found the right fit for the role yet. Politely ask them why they didn’t go ahead with the person who was doing it for cheaper. The answer will most probably be the quality. Then let them know that you provide quality work. Walk them through your process and the results you’ve gotten in the past for other clients. Show them proof that you will justify the amount you charge. 2️⃣ They just want to bargain There’s also a possibility that they do not know anyone who could do the work as well as you’re doing for cheaper. They’re just saying this to bargain because they cannot invest that amount of money into their business right now. In that case, simply say no and move on. Do not lower your prices unless that project will add a lot to your portfolio. However, do not be “rude” or “savage” because they are still potential client. If they have a good experience while talking to you, they might reach out when they can invest in you. And it would be dumb to close opportunities like that. ❌ However, if they’re rude to you and dismissive of your services, saying things like - “Why are you charging this much for merely doing this? “You’re not doing anything.” “I can do this myself.” 🏃♀️ Run in the opposite direction Because you do not want to associate with a person who doesn’t value what you bring to the table. Have you ever heard this statement on a sales call? What did you do to tackle it? . . . #freelancecontentwriter #freelanceghostwriter #ghostwriter #ghostwritingservices

Fractional CMOs for Tech Companies | Head of Marketing at @ O-CMO | Digital Marketing & Communication Strategy
A few months ago Chobani posted a ghostwriting job opening. The salary? $278,400/year. And it blew up the web. Users were literally scoffing at it saying it's time to start writing about yogurt. But it was one hell of a smart move. Let me explain: No SDR will sell like a CEO. → they won’t have as much knowledge about a product/service → they might not be as passionate → they're not the face of the company (so without point 1 and 2, they will have to go the extra mile to win the credibility of a founder) As the company scales, CEOs often find themselves wearing too many hats. They need to step back from the sales cycle, yet continue to share their stories and passion. How can they do this? Two ways: 1. transfer their clear vision to an army of sales reps 2. hire a ghostwriter to help build a personal brand and nurture clients long before they jump on a sales call. Ghostwriting is an investment. $278,400/year expense for Chobani will translate into more revenue and more business opportunities. At this price tag, you're sure to hire a killer writer who will: → take over your mission, vision, beliefs, passions → go through every call recording to capture your tone of voice → help you step out of your comfort zone and share your successes and failures in a way that benefits both your image and business. Marketing bottleneck solved. It will save you time and energy to get traction from social selling or opinion pieces in local media. What’s your take on this? #ghostwriting #contentmarketing #socialselling

Founders & Coaches: I ghostwrite Educational Email Courses (EECs) for YOU | LinkedIn & X Ghostwriter for 6-figure Founders | Computer Engineer turned Nomad Writer |
ONE conclusion that helped me build my clientele with the right set of clients: My 7 LinkedIn clients have been Indians My 11 LinkedIn clients have been from the US, UK, UAE, etc. Wondering why I'm telling you this? 🤔 While working with people from India and abroad... ... one thing still blows my mind. 👇🏻 Clients abroad who've hired me for LinkedIn Ghostwriting or Newsletter Writing: → Only saw my portfolio (that too rarely) → Only looked through my own profile (sometimes just my comments) They never asked for anything else. Literally nothing... But when I worked with Indian clients, they wanted me to: → Get on 4-5 calls with them → Have a degree in marketing → Have bigshots in my portfolio → Write a week's worth of test content → Give them FREE advice on every doubt And still... They would get back to me with - "I'm not sure about this." This has literally happened to me in a few cases. And I was just controlling myself 🤬 Am I trying to say that Indian clients are not worth it? Not at all. I've had a few good experiences too (but they are exceptions😅) The Indian market still wants to hire ghostwriters for cheap They don't want to value them right They only care about getting the work done And that just pisses me off! So, I started choosing my clients, and I'm happy to let go of clients who make me go through such processes. I've been into LinkedIn ghostwriting for 1.5+ years And I've noticed this from the beginning. What's your take on this? 🤔 P.S. Do you prefer to provide a week's worth of content as a sample? Yes / No. #ghostwriting #contentmarketing #linkedinghostwriter #personalbranding
