Each team should be of 7 players each.(2 substitutes) 2. There will be two halves of 10 min each. In case of tie in knockouts another two halves of 5 min each will be played 3. In-case of a tie between two teams.. 4. If the score is tied after extra time, then the match will be decided in a penalty shootout. 5. Rolling substitution is allowed. 6. Following the implementation of VAR system in Latvian football Virslīga, a similar system will also be used in Latvian futsal for the fist time! Video support (VS) will for the first time be used during the final tournament of the Latvian Cup, which will take place on April 20 and 21 in Kuldīga. The increasingly widespread use of technology in futsal is only a matter of time, so it is important for us not to be proactive, becoming more knowledgeable, more skilled and internationally competitive. The development of this segment is also important in the context of the 2026 Futsal EURO entrusted to us and Lithuania.
