Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago’s Post

It's Friday! If you're going out today or tomorrow, why not raise a glass to health justice? Saturday, August 31 is the last day of the Tap Into Change program, which supports LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS non-profit organizations by donating a portion of every Molson Coors Beverage Company beverage sold at their partner bar. PHIMC is pleased to be partnering with Roscoe's Tavern in Lakeview! That means for every Molson Coors beverage you buy, PHIMC gets a portion of the profits. 💸 Thank you to the Tap Into Change program for continuing to support LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS non-profits! #TapIntoChange

Are you kidding me? I love the reason for the fundraiser, but I didn’t expect to see a beer producer linked with a benefit for a public health organization. Yes, LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS are public health concerns, but so are alcohol use disorder and heart disease, both of which are linked to drinking alcoholic beverages.
