It's hard to believe that our family company will be celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year (Since 1944). The last 3 months have been a turbulent time in the Die Sets, Plate, Parallels, and Custom Fabrications market segment. We have seen a 100-year-old manufacture in this segment close their doors (Superior Die Set), and needless to say, this has caused a “ripple effect” through the 5 states we are Blessed to service (MO / IL / KS / IA / NE). But it is in these times of change, we (Lee Horneyer Company) felt it imperative to take a hard “look in the mirror” in the trust and value we are offering to our marketplace in this segment (Die Sets, Plate, Parallels, and Custom Fabrications). Lee Horneyer Company (Since 1944) is proud to introduce a company that is “that” (On time… As Promised… At a Cost In Line With Fair Market Value), but so much more…..

Crazy to think it’s been two years already… A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Torev Motors and this crazy dream of mine! I believe it’s customary for founders to share a lesson or two on LinkedIn for milestones like this, so here are a few of mine… 1) Don’t mistake hard work with progress. Be specific with your actions, milestones speak louder than hours worked. 2) Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Resilience is a key to success and isn’t learned when everything is easy. 3) Make time for more than just work each day. Your relationships, health, and mental well-being need effort to keep healthy, too. Here’s to another big year to come!
Happy Birthday Torev! Monday was the second anniversary of Torev's founding. Cheers to everyone that has contributed so much to this company. We can't wait to share another exciting year with you all. Onwards!

When a business aligns its goals with customer needs and secures the right funding, teamwork can indeed lead to great achievements. It’s the synergy of these elements that can propel a business to success. If you’re looking to start a business or need resources.
Our Closers, Packagers (and Austin) reunited in-person at last! Not a single dollar of volume gets closed without this team. Also, Honored to be a seat filler for Laura Schneider and Camilla Nichols, J.D., M.S. .

History is replete with chance events that change everything. Think the collapse in 1989 of the Berlin Wall and the Soviet Union and the resulting liberation of Eastern Europe. In 1994 we were trying to figure out how to make money in the fire extinguisher wholesale parts business. We failed. But we did, one day, receive a call from a fire equipment distributor asking if we knew anyone who was selling Halon 1301. We did not and told him so. The next day we received a call from a fire equipment distributor asking if we knew anyone who needed to buy Halon 1301. And a light bulb turned on. It’s been said that if you don’t celebrate the milestones, you’re only passing thru time. This year, 2024, Wesco celebrates its 30th anniversary. Over the holidays we took time to ponder this event and reflect on our past. The hundreds of successes. The thousands of failures (We figure we’re batting .333). All resulting in a hardened, resilient specialty company serving the clean agent fire suppression market. And we couldn’t be in a better spot. There is a scene in the movie Top Gun – Maverick, where Maverick (Tom Cruise), after being berated by an Admiral (Ed Harris) is asked why he, after 30 years on the Navy, hadn’t progressed beyond Captain. Maverick’s answer, which should have been the movie’s tagline, was, “I’m where I belong, sir.” That struck us as a fitting response to the question “Where does Wesco fit?” “They’re not a manufacturer”. “They’re not a distributor/installer”. Our answer? We’re where we belong. A heartfelt thank you to everyone, especially our loyal customers, who made this possible. https://lnkd.in/eAjfdXEh

UVEye can save your store from the unwarranted policy work! Check out the story below!
I had to share this as it happened today. Father notices damage above the VW emblem on his daughters car. Comes to the store to FaceTime her and she swears she didn’t do it. We worked on it Dec 28. Must have been us right? Father accuses us of of being unethical and we need to pay to fix it as that’s the right thing for a dealer to do. Guess what? We had UVeye that stores the scan. We filtered the vin and “mic drop” Look at the smiley face (Daughter) driving thru our “transparency machine” UVeye saved the day AGAIN. we have no re changing processes to avoid these things in the future now that UVeye has estimate lines for these damages that the customers will leave with.
