His captivating account highlighted the challenges, teamwork, and success of this well-executed event by ASPIRE, fostering fair and exciting competition. 📌 Just yesterday 10th of December, our colleagues Cristian Builes Cárdenas, Ph.D, Concepción López and Verónica Mantecón López were in Brussels for the review meeting of CAELESTIS - Next Generation Aircraft, a project we lead from #aimenct. 🛩️ Representatives of the different members of its consortium were there to review the different work packages and developments made within CAELESTIS - Next Generation Aircraft. 🚀 #CAELESTIS, a #HorizonEurope initiative, is seeking to conduct groundbreaking technical research into virtual prototyping and digital twins, with huge potential impacts on the #aviation industry. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ed94Uh3V 📌 Regarding another #HorizonEurope initiative #AIMEN is part of, our colleagues Raquel Pérez Varela and Ricardo Losada traveled to Zaragoza to attend the general assembly of AMBIANCE Project. 🪴The meeting took place at ITA · Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón, project coordinator, and all the partners were there reaching their target for this M30 meeting, review and update the work of the last 6 months and establish the concrete action plan and the next steps for the next semester. ♻️ In addition, our colleagues attended several workshops organized by the different partners, such as on risk management and standardization with an external expert. SEAFAR raises €5M for European expansion! 🚢 Seafar is making waves (get it? 😉) in the maritime industry by enabling 75 ships to sail (semi)autonomously using cutting-edge software powered by sensors, cameras, and AI. With a fresh €5M investment from Victrix, which was supported by Four & Five, Seafar is set to double in size next year and expand its operations across Europe, starting with the Netherlands and Germany. Congrats Louis-Robert Cool and team!

Porrima, the ship that under the name of PlanetSolar Foundation with Raphael Raphaël DOMJAN as skipper was the first in history to circumnavigate the world is now in full refit. Work started, the road ahead will be tough, but we hope to succeed by May 2025. The ship will appear at the Expo 2025 Osaka as promised when she was named Ambassador of the Expo in 2022 at the closing of Expo2021dubaiofficial. Porrima will set sail with +30 novel technologies each a revolution on its own. It will serve as model for the first ever industrialised production of boats that will not need a drop of fuel ever. Porrima will set no more records, rather it will trigger local #economic development. We expect to deliver 100 ships by 2030. Expect announcements on the first countries that embrace #zeroemission as the only way forward, and make Porrima their model.

We’ve just concluded our roadshow in collaboration with České dráhy, a.s., introducing our latest technological innovation – the Škoda battery train. The first of its kind in the Czech Republic, the battery train offers eco-friendly operation, exceptional passenger comfort, and high efficiency for operators. Regions like Pilsen, Prague, Central Bohemia, and Pardubice – all eager to explore this cutting-edge technology – saw the train in action. The train we showcased is one of four currently in operation in the pioneering Moravian-Silesian region since December.
