It’s not often that I get to see fire tests in person, and even less so tests of historic doors, but today I witnessed just that. Two existing doors side by side, almost identical, with the exception that one has received joinery repairs, smoke seals, and fire rated glass set within a secondary frame. It was a hugely interesting and informative day to see these tests taking place.
Agreed. It was a fantastic opportunity to witness the test. Many thanks to Jerry Quayle of JQA, for organising it all.
