Transformational Operations & Business Development Leader | Driving Efficiency, Innovation, Exponential Growth & High-Performing Teams
🎭 Ever felt like your office was a battlefield? Let's flip the script! Unhealthy competition at work can sour even the sweetest success. It's a tightrope walk between fostering drive and avoiding cutthroat behavior. Barbara Corcoran has some suggestions on this topic: 😄 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: Creating an enjoyable work environment can transform 'friend-enemies' into genuine colleagues. 🤝 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫: Light-hearted jokes and icebreakers can bridge gaps between diverse teams. ⚖️ 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭: While fun is crucial, it shouldn't overshadow core business goals. 🎵 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡: Encouraging individual ways of having fun, like swapping 'to-do' lists for 'fun' lists or listening to favorite songs at work, can lift spirits. 🎉 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Organizing outings, potlucks, or even scavenger hunts can enhance morale and collaboration. Ready to transform your workplace? Start by injecting a dose of fun into your day. Whether it's cracking jokes during meetings or organizing a lunch potluck, small actions can create big ripples. Remember, a little laughter goes a long way in building a collaborative, innovative team. #WorkplaceHappiness #TeamBuilding #Leadership #OfficeCulture #EmployeeEngagement

What's the most awkward team-building event you've been to? Mine was an overnight offsite at a secluded cottage in the woods. It was a very typical work-fun event with roadmap announcements and icebreakers. The caveat? I shared a bedroom with 8 coworkers. I was a junior employee, carpooled there with other people, and had no idea what the plan was. Work conversations were intertwined with drinking. At one point, someone brought in a breathalyzer to ensure we were at the same level of inebriation (as a joke, of course). I would enjoy this as a weekend with friends! But not so much with my extended team (though I respected and loved working with every single person there). You want to be close with your coworkers. But not too close. So how do you make a team event not awkward? ✅ Announce the full agenda. ✅ Do it locally. Make it convenient for people to show up and leave. If people have to travel, make sure they have their own private space. ✅ Pick low-pressure activities that don't involve non-stop conversations or alcohol. #teambuilding #humanresources #leadership #workplaceculture #culture

Business Consultant, Executive Coach ⭐helping CEOs increase their team's efficiency and business profits⭐
Team building facilitation gives me great joy. The results are better relationships, more peace, success and well-being for all. See what Joe Lu visionary and founder of Heal House and one of his team members had to say after their team building event. Thanks to their COO Nancy K. who coordinated this with me. The team building was in preparation for their open house this Friday, Sept 20 at 3 pm in King City. If you are into staying healthy or improving your health you've got to visit this place, latest technology and kind naturopathic doctors and staff. A team needs to achieve goals together, to be efficient and for members to feel the support of others. Each member has an official job description to follow but each brings their personality to the table, one is a community builder, one sees the bigger picture, one is the nurturer, and one is the protector. When in the office busy with the day-to-day tasks is hard to understand what each brings to the team besides their qualifications. Through setting intentions, working through exercises, sharing and witnessing others it became clear what each person's soft role was in the team. I’m so excited for them. Does your team need a boost of energy? Reach out to connect and see how I can help. #teambuilding #ceomindset #businesssuccess #leadershipdevelopment #enlightenment #shopKing

I help people to unite through laughter in a way that allows laugher, fun and discovery so that your company can boost creativity, bonding and well being
🎥 ** How Laughter Can Transform Your Company in Seconds!**✨ 👇In this video, I share a simple yet powerful exercise—*making each other laugh* (without being verbal)—and the surprising ways it can boost your company’s culture. In just seconds, you can create instant bonding, spark curiosity, and foster a sense of complicity among your #team. Laughter invites openness and vulnerability, and before you know it, your brain starts producing endorphins and oxytocin—aka the “trust and relaxation” duo! These feel-good chemicals are crucial for building stronger relationships, enhancing collaboration, and creating an environment where creativity thrives. Ready to transform your #workplace? Let’s laugh our way there! 😄 Many workshops and teambuilding focus on play and creativity, but what if you could supercharge those with laughter—an element that boosts emotional intelligence and creativity simultaneously? video credit: Arturo Martinini Filmed during a workshop with : Arts for Learning NW #Portland #oregon #seattle #hr #hrdirector #people #operation #leads #chief #talent #innovation #team #career #success #business #smile #solution Hemex Health, Inc. I recently had the pleasure of attending an outstanding team bonding and synchronization session led by the dynamic sanjay dua. Highlights: 1. Introductions: We kicked off with a rapid-fire introduction exercise where each pair had 5 minutes to learn about their partner and introduce them to the group. This activity highlighted the importance of regularly connecting with colleagues. Just as we spent a few minutes getting to know each other, dedicating 3-5 minutes daily to connect with team members can significantly enhance communication and team bonds. 2. Blindfold Maze: We then tackled a game involving guiding a blindfolded partner through a maze of cut paper on the floor. This challenge had three phases: - First Phase: The paper was stable, and the partner had to move based on verbal instructions. Clear and precise communication is essential. When guidance is stable and straightforward, the task is manageable, showing the effectiveness of clear instructions in achieving goals. - Second Phase: The floor was clear and the blindfolded partner was guided with less specific instructions. The partner, unsure if they might touch any paper, moved slowly and was hesitant. Less guidance can lead to confusion and inefficiency, highlighting the need for specific, detailed instructions to build trust and confidence. - Final Phase: The paper was moving, requiring precise instructions as the paper shifted with each direction. Adaptability and real-time adjustments are crucial. This phase showed that tasks can evolve, requiring flexible communication to navigate changing situations effectively. 3. Newspaper Tail Challenge: The final challenge involved creating the longest tail using only our non-dominant hand. Divided into two teams, we used newspapers, tape and scissors, with 5 minutes for strategy and 5 minutes to craft our tail. We created a long tail showcasing teamwork and ingenuity and celebrated our win with chocolates! Key Takeaways: - Regular, brief interactions can strengthen team bonds and enhance communication. - Clear and specific guidance is essential for effective task execution and reducing confusion. - Adaptability and real-time adjustments are key to navigating complex tasks. - Team bonding exercises should focus on both practical skills and fostering a collaborative spirit. A special thanks to Duratuf Products Pvt. Ltd. for organizing this fantastic program. Sanjay Dua’s session was a brilliant reminder that team bonding goes beyond fun—it’s about fostering deeper connections, improving problem-solving skills and embracing a collaborative spirit. The session reinforced the value of daily interactions and teamwork. #TeamBonding #Leadership #CorporateCulture #FunAtWork #Teamwork #SanjayDua #Innovation #Networking #ChallengeAccepted #DailyInteractions #Duratuf #EmployeeEngagement #TeamBuilding #Productivity #Collaboration #WorkplaceWellness #hr #duaknowledgepotli

NOT ONLY in the office is possible to work on management development...
WE WOKE UP EARLY We woke up early this morning, not because we must, but because we want. We woke up early, it was not easy, not so many hours passed since our decision yesterday evening while having a drink. We woke up early, someone came with us, and someone else remained down at the hotel in the valley. We woke up early, soon we looked down at where we started from, where our families were. We woke up early, some able to walk faster, some able to go slower, but we kept together to talk about management, communication, responsibilities, time-management, stress... each one with a personal view of the situation. We woke up early, the walk was hard, someone finished the water, and someone shared the water available with the others. We woke up early this morning, but we enjoyed reaching the top, we were tired and at the same time full of motivation and energy. We woke up early, we reached our target early enough to be able to go back to our families on time, someone for a sauna with the partner, someone to play with the kids before dinner. We woke up early this morning, but this evening talking about the reached top, the discussions done during the path, the enjoyment with partner, the playing with the kids… the drink tasted differently this evening, a taste of fulfillment and satisfaction. NOT ONLY IN OFFICE is possible to develop management skills, strengthen leadership, solve problems, find ways how to improve life balance… Contact PROBATUR GROUP at info@probatur-group.com for Management development https://lnkd.in/ePhKe2Ki #plantmanager #operations #strategy #development

Are you looking for a simple, yet effective way to check in with your team members? Look no further than "Rose, Bud, Thorn" - a powerful check-in activity that can transform the way your team engages with each other. By asking team members to share one positive moment (rose), one area of potential growth (bud), and one challenge or difficulty (thorn), you can create a safe and supportive space for open communication and collaboration. Taking this exercise one step further by reflecting on how to turn a thorn or bud into a rose encourages problem-solving and a growth mindset that can lead to even more positive moments for the team. Regularly incorporating "Rose, Bud, Thorn" into your check-ins can cultivate a supportive and collaborative workplace culture. Have you tried this activity before? What other methods have you found effective for team check-ins? Share your experiences and insights in the comments below. Let's work together to foster a collaborative and supportive workplace culture. Acknowledgment: credits to Whole Hearted School Counseling for the amazing infographic. If you’ve ever been on one of my teams, I love a good morning huddle! I value a session called “help or highlight” and this is a good alternative if you’re looking for something new to add to your “toolbox” for team conversations. When you open yourself up to these conversations, it allows employees to connect, lean in and grow. The 5-10 minutes it takes can change someone’s day or the trajectory of their week, month, year or life! #leanin #leadership #coaching #morningmotivation #teambonding
