We are excited to share that for the second year in a row, we will be supporting Put Me In!   Put Me In! is dedicated to dismantling barriers to sports participation for children of incarcerated parents (CIPs), fostering inclusivity, resilience, and empowerment through athletics. Their mission aligns with the transformative impact targeted by our Fighting for Futures event, making their inclusion a strategic extension of our shared vision for community upliftment.   In the past year, Put Me In! successfully utilized funding to integrate five deserving children from the Chicago area into their program, committing to the children’s long-term athletic development. With the proceeds from this year’s Fighting For Futures charity boxing event, they look to significantly expand their footprint in the Chicago area. Including:   1. Enrollment Expansion: Increasing the number of CIPs enrolled in the Put Me In! program, with a focus on those in the Chicago area. This expansion will directly translate to more children having access to sports, fostering their physical and emotional growth.   2. Comprehensive Support: Covering the direct costs of sports participation—league fees, equipment, and travel. The goal is to ensure no child is left on the sidelines due to financial constraints.   3. Program improvement: Enhancing the Put Me In! proprietary mobile app to streamline the distribution of funds and support, ensuring scalability and efficiency in reaching CIPs across various locations.
