The Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) annual fundraising golf tournament takes place on Tuesday, May 14th. Putzel is proud to sponsor the event benefiting the expansion of the NGHS Braselton Emergency Department. Built in 2015, NGHS Braselton ED was built to serve 25,000 visits a year. With more than 52,000 visits in 2022, the need for expansion is vital to the region. The Cheryl Shippey Memorial golf tournament, previously called the Laurel Classic, is named in memory of Cheryl Shippey, a beloved NGHS Foundation team member. She was well-known in the Braselton community for her work on NGHS Braselton’s Inaugural Campaign and was instrumental in the creation of the Laurel Classic.

Jarrett Collins of Pan-Mass Challenge on work of Turnkey's Founder, Katrina VanHuss: "Her latest book (Social Fundraising: Mining the New Peer-to-Peer Landscape) contains invaluable, science-based, and often counter-intuitive advice for nonprofits that want to win the peer-to-peer fundraising game, advice I draw upon daily running the nation's most successful athletic fundraiser, the Pan-Mass Challenge."
Read. This. Now. About a month ago, I interviewed the co-author of Social Fundraising, Katrina VanHuss (I'll link to my interview with her below). Her latest book contains invaluable, science-based, and often counterintuitive advice for nonprofits that want to win the peer-to-peer fundraising game, advice I draw upon daily running the nation's most successful athletic fundraiser, the Pan-Mass Challenge. My thanks to Katrina and her co-author, Dr. Otis Fulton, for this instant classic: https://lnkd.in/eP-PBi_q (My interview with Katrina: https://lnkd.in/er4mRY_e)

Nonprofit Email Marketing Consultant 💌 Helping nonprofits raise more funds with email.👩👧 Mom advocating for work/life harmony.
If there's one takeaway from the Nonprofit Marketing Summit it's that nonprofits should be focusing on community-first marketing. Find ways to create a community for the people who care about your mission. Not sure where to start? Monthly donors are your people – start with them. By creating a place where these people can connect, you are providing so much value and will improve retention. It's no longer enough to push out content, we must make quality and meaningful relationships through community. Community Boost Cameron Ripley #nonprofitmarketingsummit #NMS24
