DONEGAL MOVES TO ZERO: Recently we handed over two ‘A’ rated educational schemes for secondary colleges, completing a busy period of installs across the ‘Hills of Donegal’. 🍃Situated on one of the most picturesque sites in all of Ireland, just on the edge of Mulroy Bay, Milford, a new, two-storey classroom block is now fully-utilised at Mulroy College. Spanning over 880 sqm, the new block consists of seven mainstream classrooms, three SET rooms, two offices and washrooms. Completed in a sargasso and oyster grey colourway that’s sympathetic to the backdrop of Mulroy Bay, Mulroy College is now benefitting from a new building that’s comfortable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly, creating a healthy learning environment for the school community. 🍃Just 15 kilometers away, a new energy-efficient and sustainable modular building has been installed at Errigal College, Letterkenny. Offering an additional 840sqm of space and built to #GreenBuildingPractices, the standalone, two-story block was completed within six months, and has already achieved a 'best in class' BER A rating. With both buildings manufactured offsite in our premises in Co. “The living conditions in the dormitory are great thanks to European-quality renovation work,” says Tumash Maksym, a Lutsk National Technical University student and a resident of the newly refurbished building in #Lutsk, #Ukraine. Prior to the renovation, the structure did not hold heat well, lacked automated weather and hourly heat control systems, used outdated lighting, and relied solely on traditional energy sources, leading to significant energy expenses. An EU grant of EUR 1.66 million, managed by Nefco, made it possible to implement several energy and non-energy efficiency measures.
