Houston, we (had a problem) 😬 Our client was a busy professional managing two side hustle businesses and a family. Her plate was full, and her team was facing a lot of challenges. We knew we could help, but how? Here's the nitty gritty of what we did to turn it all around: 📅 We sit down weekly to map out her week, ensuring no detail is overlooked. 📩 No more missed meetings—we handle all appointment confirmations. 📝 Contracts for new events are sent out months in advance, eliminating last-minute rushes. 💻 We created an event page on her website, which is now filling up with profitable events. The result? She’s no longer in reactive mode. With deliberate planning, she even managed to take *three weeks* off this summer without significant impacts on her businesses. Now THAT'S what we call a client success story! 🙌

Hotel -> Apartment Converter, watch me as I build my conversion business! | Hedge Fund MBS Quantitative Strategist turned CRE Operator
Recently I have been feeling pretty comfortable - doing underwriting, checking community pictures through google map, sending emails back and forth with my partners, and making a few phone calls to build relationship. But something doesn’t feel right, the fact that I am getting comfortable tells me my growth is slowing down! So I want to push myself and do something I have not done before – I want to organize a monthly real estate local meet up. The goal is to create opportunities for new friendships, exchanging insights/information, and building relationships. Of course, I'll continue discussing hotel-to-apartment conversions, but other real estate topics are welcome too. For instance, I have friends like Sixiang (Nick) Li, Gongting W. who can share their roller-coaster experiences investing in NNN medical buildings. If there’s enough interest, I’ll also invite Hotelshift managing principal Alexander Cartwright and acquisition director Patrick Painter to join some of the meet-ups. The format will start as casual networking and evolve depending on attendance and topics covered. Would anyone be interested in joining such local meet-up near Manhattan or New Jersey (perhaps Jersey City, Hoboken, or Fort Lee)? I am thinking meeting at a bar for our first event. 😀

Storage Scholars | College Student Storage & Moving | Shark Tank Season 14 | Mark Cuban Company | Triad30U30 | Founder & CEO
The first text and the first FaceTime are always the most surprising... Today, we got featured on Fox Business. It started like any other day: I got up, ran our "Monday Mile" PR with my roommates and a few friends (5:54 today!!), and then the workday began. At 2 PM, I rode my e-bike downtown, took the elevator to the 5th floor, and walked into the Fox Austin studio. Within 30 minutes, we were in and out—sharing a bit of wisdom for the youth, talking about our new "Ship to School" service for incoming students, and trying to keep the nerves at bay. My business partner Matt Gronberg and I exchanged a few hugs, took a selfie, and then it was back to business as usual. Just another day in the office, right? Then the first text came in from a moving company owner in Greensboro, NC: "Congrats on the feature! I was listening on XM radio." Then a FaceTime from my friend: "Wow, that was insane!" Followed by texts, DMs, phone calls... Wow, I had completely forgotten how impactful 'national' really is. I went back home, took a cold plunge, finished some work, and now I'm reflecting on how grateful I am for opportunities like these. Every day before this prepared me for those few minutes on air. What does my pregame prep look like? -Exercise in the morning—must sweat heavily. -Fast until noon with liquids only (water, tea, and bone broth if the workout was intense). -Have a small, clean lunch so I don't feel sluggish. -Stretch and visualize excelling in the moment—picturing myself on air, saying exactly what I want to say. -Use my Olbas oil 'Power to Breathe' essential oils stick at home and right before I go on air to create a sense of familiarity with the environment and mindset. -Breathe in, breathe out... game time. Here’s the link to the feature from today, feeling blessed: https://lnkd.in/e4yNb_48 Fun fact from the interview—that's actually not a green screen; we really were positioned right in front of the capital! 🏛

I help business owners grow and optimise their businesses, and master the rhythmic acquisition of customers, through the effective and efficient use of CRM (especially Salesforce.com) and EC-certified coaching.
Some absolutely key suggestions from Marcus here about actually implementing that inspiration you get from attending an event. it's so easy to be inspired, but inspiration doesn't make the difference. implementation does.

Have you ever attended an event, gotten super excited to implement what you learned, but upon returning to the office nothing actually happened? You’re not alone. I’m literally speaking from stage as I write this, and here are the keys I’ve found to get the most from any future events you attend. Also, what else would you add to my list of suggestions? 👇

This time last year 15-20 of us would occasionally meet up in person, In random cities to compliment virtual cohort connecting, We’d discuss challenges and problems we were navigating, We’d share support, tips, and resources we were leveraging, And we’d have a little fun… These meet ups were awesome and fulfilling. Unlike any commercial gatherings we’d experienced. We had mixed role functions, industries, geographies etc… In a day of digital disruption, and constant change it was really cool to see people temporarily dropping things, To prioritize themselves, and prioritize the power of authentic human connections. Today we have the privilege to fly to Nashville and be together with 70 executive leaders, To do what we’ve been doing since day 1 and then some… When you start something new, Everyone’s always asking how do you scale, how do you maintain an ethos through scale, etc…it’s always about scale scale Scale… I’ll tell you my view of how you try to do anything well through some inevitable scale. Be around Amazing people. Below all the new technologies and new types of companies etc, There’s this ancient thing called people. Human beings have craved connection, belonging, meaning, and fulfillment since the beginning of time. The desire for companionship, purpose, and understanding has been a fundamental aspect of human existence throughout history. Additionally, the pursuit of knowledge, growth, and self-improvement has also been a driving force for individuals seeking to better themselves and their communities. As I’ve often said since the beginning of this journey, We don’t know exactly where this CREW is going, We’re just soaking up every minute of growing together as a community, And I do know one thing- Together we are lifting each other upwards and onwards so we can go back to companies, families, and communities to help others do the same. Love this CREW, Wheels up from Austin’s Delta Air Lines sky club…

Business networking to connect small business owners to the people & ideas to support their business & personal growth. Community driven, collaborative business networking. Fabulous Networking: what it says on the tin!
How did it get to be the 1st October already? Summer seemed to be gone in a flash if it ever arrived. Is it just me thinking this? Probably not. Time passes quickly and it's easy to lose track of it. That probably means that there are connections you made earlier in the year that you haven't checked in with in a while. They've probably forgotten you! This week's tip is to go through the connections you made in the first six months of the year and get in touch with them. See how they are. Arrange for a chat. Invite them to another event. Send them something of interest. Remind them you exist and what you are about. Ideally show that you remember something about them. Build that relationship. #networkingtips #buildingrelationships
