It has been some time since I posted pictures of me with a fish. So here goes... Me and a very unique box puffer fish. We were trying to sell it for 7 gold bullions. Unfortunately time ran out and our game ended, but still we won gaining the most gold amongst the teams.
This was the fun we had at The Sales Game organized by Surge Connection (Wolfpack Series), with trainer Patrick Ooi.
So what is my message here? How can an origami fish sell so high? Check this out...
From a subconscious perspective, everything has or has no value. It depends on each individual's subconscious programs. Those who see value will pay more for the value. Those who don't will not.
Hence why luxury good sell. Ok, let's talk about luxury goods. Brunelli Cucinelli sells clothes that does not scream branded. In fact, one can hardly see its brand logo on their shirt. Their suede trench coat sells for over USD10,000 and it does not even have a logo on it. Yet people buy them.
The cost of making the trench coat is certainly not that high. Maybe only 5% of the selling price. People who buy them, knows this. It is also "brandless" meaning the brand cannot be seen, and looks rather normal.
So, why do those who buy them, buy them? Because they see value that others do not see.
The same goes to you as a person. You are valuable and sometimes you do not see your value, but others do. Sometimes you may feel that you are not valuable as it can be dejecting if you have been doing something good, creating good output, yet those around you do not see value in your work. The art world is such.
But always remember, there are always those who do. They may not be in your circle of friends or network, but they are out there somewhere. Sometimes you just need to go look for them and go to them.
