Key benefit shared by ONGC was - as a result of Automation, now they are able to hire young girls fresh out of college who take up oil well drilling jobs, and they are excelling in it too. This was predominantly a male work force prior. Excellent! (ONGC has 7,000+ oil wells) Indian Oil and Indraprastha Gas - highlighted their findings that CCTV systems were most vulnerable and should be secured by every organisation. Noted. Indraprastha Gas has come up with an app that tells people the average waiting time at gas stations within a radius of 5 km and beyond to help them choose a station where they will be able to refuel their tanks the quickest - achieved by enabling realtime analysis of their CCTV streams - has helped them to provide wait-time information to customers as well as reduce wait-times in the bargain. Time saved is money earned for the customer. Ravi Kumar - great job in organising the event as well as getting the right set of people to attend. Kudos!
