Staffing and Recruiting Firms Are Not Expensive! Many businesses assume that using a staffing and recruiting firm is too costly. However, the truth is, these services can save both time and money compared to hiring internally. Hiring in-house often comes with hidden costs—like advertising, the time spent reviewing applications, and productivity losses while roles remain vacant. Not to mention, if you hire the wrong candidate, you face additional costs in turnover and rehiring. A bad hire can cost a business up to £30,614 for a role with a £25,000 salary! This accounts for the hiring process, training, and other hidden expenses that are often overlooked during the onboarding process. The financial burden only escalates with higher salaries, potentially reaching up to 2.5 times the annual salary. Thus, to avoid these staggering costs, it's paramount to craft a detailed job description that aligns the role with the candidate's expectations. This reduces the risk of "shift shock" where new hires quickly feel the job isn't what they anticipated. Partnering with a recruitment agency can further mitigate these risks. Agencies specialise in thorough vetting, in-depth screenings, and right-to-work checks, ensuring you find the right fit. Opting for an industry-expert agency adds extra protection, offering industry expertise and additional protection policies, such as payment rebates if the new hire departs within a specific timeframe. In a competitive market, having a recruitment partner can make all the difference between success and costly mistakes. If you're looking to eradicate 'bad hires,' get in touch. #Recruitment #Hiring #TalentAcquisition

To all job seekers: A fake company that calls itself CPM Consulting Inc. is reaching out through email by saying that they saw your profile and are extremely impressed by your résumé, telling you to contact someone else and apply for a position. After you email that person and send your résumé and a cover letter, within 5 minutes you have a job offer where they ask for: 1. Identification: They ask you to provide clear photographs of the front and back sides of your driver’s license or government-issued ID or Passport for identification purposes. 2. Recent Photo: They ask you to provide a recent, clear, self-taken photo to verify your identity. 3. Home Address: They ask for your complete mailing address to enable the secure delivery of "essential materials". 4. Phone Number: They ask you to provide your contact number for seamless communication. Keep in mind: 1- Offer letters or emails are preliminary documents that outline job details and the employer's intent to hire, but they are not legally binding or as detailed as employment contracts. 2- Employment contracts are legally binding agreements that formalize the employment relationship, specifying comprehensive terms like job responsibilities, compensation, and termination conditions. 3 - Sharing sensitive information and personal documents typically occurs after an official hiring and signing of a contract for onboarding purposes. 4 - The hiring process involves the creation, use, and retention of documents that facilitate hiring and help ensure compliance with federal and state or international regulations. 5- Negotiating the terms of employment is a crucial step in the hiring process, involving discussions about salary, benefits, bonuses, start date, relocation assistance, and other aspects important to both parties 6- Onboarding is a critical step in the hiring process, involving integrating the new hire into the organization, providing necessary training, tools, and resources, and ensuring a smooth transition. In times like these when we read stories about long-term unemployment almost every day, some people prey on those going through hardship. Be careful.
