I was honoured to attend the "Investment School of Creative Arts" by the NICO Group in collaboration with the Copyright Fund. I attended as a presenter, artist, and in my formal capacity as Special Advisor to the President. The knowledge, skills, and experiences shared by the presenters and participants were key in filling the knowledge gaps in the creative sector.

The British High Commission in Malawi recently marked its inaugural Burns Night celebration, paying homage to the renowned Scottish poet Robert Burns. The event, filled with the spirit of Scottish tradition, showcased the timeless works of Burns, exploring themes of love and nature. As the honored poet of the evening, I had the privilege of reciting "A Red, Red Rose" by Burns and sharing one of my original poems, contributing to the festivities and adding a personal touch to this historic occasion. Spent a meaningful day in my office with my son Nthawi, surrounded by the gallery of Malawian artists. This picture of him with what we call "Wall of Ancestors" speaks volumes about the legacy we inherit.
