Qantas will operate direct seasonal flights between Sydney and Sapporo from December 15, 2025, to March 28, 2026, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The three-weekly service marks the airline’s 100th destination, catering to Australians travelling to Hokkaido’s renowned ski resorts like Niseko and Furano. This nonstop route will cut travel time and accommodate over 20,000 passengers during Japan’s peak ski season. Economy fares include meals, baggage, and in-flight entertainment, with tickets available now on the Qantas website.

Qantas will relaunch a seasonal service direct from Sydney to the Japanese ski resort of Sapporo in December.
