Self-awareness is vital in identifying stressors and triggers. In my experience, one of the most vital tools to individuals' mental health, personal and professional resilience, emotional intelligence, and ability to resolve conflict with others is a daily mindfulness practice. This creates an ability for people to be empowered in dealing with our thoughts and emotions recognizing we are not our thoughts, our identity is not our work, and identifying how to respond versus react to both internal and external challenges. When we are not aware of these challenges, we are bound to the toxic cycles that alienate and frustrate us as well as those who must interact with us in professional environments. It's comforting to know there is a solution instead of the constant conflict and stress that comes with blindly bashing our way toward achieving professional objectives. #selfawareness #conflictresolution #empowerment #mentalhealth #resilience
